Okay, so today is a week from when i got my little girls from a local club. As a first time indoor dad i'm very worried. I've grown outdoors but never indoors. They're having some problems and I wanted to post this to get some advice and to also share my first indoor grow! So heres the setup...
x2 68watt, 4200 lumen clfs in metal relfecters
x2 20watt clfs
x2 30watt tube clfs for backside lighting
*adding 150watt hps sun system plug in play light in the next week just to give them some better, and just more light.
Plants are in roots organic soil, buckets have many drainage holes.
Going to use roots organic buddha grow, and buddha bloom.
Constant temp of 78-83f

So the first couple days i messed up and gave them some strong nutes, and after realizing my screw up i flushed them and put them in new flushed soil.

Problems......well ill start with each plant then its problem.
OG Platinum: Dark brown spot (pictured) and kinda droopy, looking somewhat spruced from older pictures though. Spot is worrying me though.
Gods Gift: VERY weak, droopy, very light green, lots of what i think are nut burns from when i studiply feed them too much.
Candy Kush: tips yellowing, some light coloration in some leaves. Seems to slowly get worse.
G13: weird looking nut burn? not really sure.

ALL PLANTS HAVE NOT SHOWN MORE THAN 1.5CM's OF GROWTH ALL WEEK.
starting to freak out.

So heres the problems im having. And i'm really starting to get scared for my girls. :( Thank you in advance for the information i could recieve, i know this website is full of knowledgeable people. Someone please help me out... : (

How much are you watering? Whats the ph of the water you are using? Godsgift looks a little N def. also you should either take out of the clear container or light proof it with some tape. Roots like the dark. The brown spot on the platinum kush could be from maybe dropping some nutes on the leaf? I only see that one spot thats why im guessing that. This is all guessing considering you havent filled out the trouble shooting form. You should fill that out and put in plant problems section for a more accurate diagnosis. The people on here will get you going in the right direction given the right info on your grow. Oh yea good job on getting more light.

Ive been watering every 2-3 days, or until i cant stick my middle finger all the way down in the soil and feel its not damp. I just now got to testing my water its at 8.5. which SUCKS. going to my hydro store and getting containers filled with water at 6.0. going to flush them tonight or tomorrow and see what happens. I think the problems should subside when i get the ph correct in the water area. Does that mean that i should change the soil that has been watered with the 8.5 water? or when it drys out it should be fine? or does that affec the ph of the soil?

IMO i would flush with 6.5ish water. 3 times the amount of the container. After flushing it usually takes awhile to dry out. Let it dry out so the pot is real light or the plant starts drooping a little. Then continue watering around 6.5ish. When you start feeding nutes again start off small (1/4 or 1/2 of the recommended dose) and work your way up to full strength. I think your plants are gonna appreciate that extra 150 HPS. Keep and eye on those temps when you add it. Your babies should be fine once the ph is right and that hps is put in. Good luck

So today I got around 5 gallons of water from my local hydro store (whom ive now developed a nice relationship with...discountss! yess) and a pH tester. The color is coming out just a tad darker yellow than what the meter says is 6 so, im assuming it'll be fine. I moved Gods Gift and the OG to new black pots with fresh roots organic soil, they've been sitting kinda dry for around 6 hours and im going to flush them tonight. The hps wont come for another week or two, so i hope they can wait that long!

btw, thanks so much pushit for the advice. ill keep my grow log updated!

Anytime. I have a question for you. Why are you buying water from the hydro store? My own curiosity. Sounds like you got test strips for your ph? They will work but ill strongly advise getting a digital ph pen. The strips wont test the runoff properly from what ive read (dont know from experience). If you bought a ph pen(Milwaukee ph 600 on ebay for 20 bucks) and ph up and down you could use your tap water and would save you money in the long run. Plus a bunch of trips to the hydro store. What size pots are you using now and what size are you planning on finishing with?

to answer your other question, i think im going to finish the candy and the g13 in the pots they reside in now. But the gods and the og will be moved to similar pots when they're done vegging. I need to keep the roots a bit small, but still healthly to keep my baby girls nice and petite for the space they're workin with.

thanks again guys! ill update next week with new pictures. gave them all a good flush with 6.0 water yesterday. see how they do now....

Not every clone will make it or even do well, especially from a club. I made 6 clones 6 weeks ago and one is a runt, even though they all had the same exact conditions. Its a common if you have a mother to put two clones in each pot and kill the weaker of the two when flowering begins. Then you get a no weak plants.

let those sit for a few days in the fresh dirt the roots will open up and you will get a better flush
