For my next grow I am going to use square buckets for my DWC. By using square buckets I can almost double the amount I can grow in my tent.

My question is; I can only find them in white and am afraid of the light seeping through the buckets seeing how their white. Would I be able to put some heavy plastic bags in each one to keep the light from getting to the roots but keeping the outside white for more light reflection?

Anyone have any input on this? Thanks!

shine a flashlight or something through the bucket to see if light leeks through. if it does or this is not possible then you can wrap the buckets in a dark colored duct tape or if have the time you can paint them. Could also use Panda film if you have any laying around. Kinda confused on how you can double your grow just by changing buckets, you still only have so many sq ft and must have room to tend plants. Maybe you could shine a light on this??

Because the buckets are square they can be put a lot closer to each other than round buckets with out wasting space. They are also narrower than a round bucket.
