400 watt hps/mh in a 2'/8'/8' closet

What would be the max plants in this set up. Currently I have 11 clones from a local california club. I underestimated the whole ventilation thing when I first flicked on the lights 2.5 weeks ago and the next morning they werent to happy. All seemed to recover fine except for four which seem to be lagging far behind. I am still waiting to drill a ventilation hole to mount a fan but have drastically improved air flow with keeping the door cracked and using a second fan to push cool kitchen air in. Yesterday I lowered the light to about 8" with no adverse effect. I have topped and tucked away leaves like suggested any other tips or ideas? Thanks

some other options ..maybe try scrog...screen of green....since all your plants are clones...ventalation is important...good luck !!!

8" might be a bit close for rooting clones plus they're probably also in shock or stressed from the heat storm. if they were mine i'd raise the light another foot until they're no longer wilted at least...probably for a couple days more. maybe give em a dose of super-thrive on the next watering too. if roots are well developed already maybe they're ready for bigger pots? that too will help with the heat...

Thanks for the advice. They arent quite fully rooted but they are almost three weeks old. This morning their were no apparent adverse affects with the light so I think I will keep it where its at. How tall do you suppose I should grow plus I was also thinking about adding some flourecents.
