Alright I'm not asking if you can veg with 2700k because i know you can.

from what I've read it will make them stretch and grow slowly but maybe others have grown differently

What would be the pros/cons of vegging with 2700k and has only had a successful grow with them.

Actually there is a fair amount of blue in a 2700k floroescent, so it is very possible. But keep in mind that a 5500-6500K floro would veg better.

Hey there are people using HPS even for veg, and they are abt 2200K and lack most blue.

I have done a grow from start to finish using 2700k. They just grew a little bit slower than normal. I didn't have any issues with stretching.
