Reports out of China says farmers using this stuff "forchlorfenuron" on their watermelon crops caused them to explode. It's approved for use by the USDA on crops although I'm not able to find much information on it other them a bunch of technical jargon. It's used in the US on grape crops. I thought it was listed as a pesticide but I don't see how that would cause the melons to explode??

EPA has is listed as a pesticide, though that _seems_ incorrect, it's a PGR/ Hormone. Never heard of it being used on cannabis, but I did find some foreign suppliers that elude to it's use for weed. If anyone has any firsthand experience with forchlorfenuron (aka CPPU, CT-30), I'd love to know as well. May order some for testing, but need to find it in small enough quantity - i.e. don't need a 50lb drum of it.

Oh, it's claimed to be up to 100 times more 'effective' than Benzylaminopurine.

I found it as a 1% solution for about $100 per kg shipped from overseas, or around $500 for 1kg of 98-99% pure, but really, all I want is a gram....

Tell them you're some kind of distributor and want a "sample" because you're intrested in possibly adding it to your wholesale business.
They use it on grapes so maybe find a grape farmer who can part with a drop or two?

Not going to work well. The best super-enhancer we've found so far is colchicine and that stuff is TOXIC.
