I love my vapes. I have many, and have tried most. Each has a learning curve to it, especially the portable ones. You have to take a day to learn each.. and most new Vaporists think that they are not that crazy about their choice on the first couple of tries.
I tell people to use "bunk" weed the first day, to get the feel of the unit. Once you are able to get some of that to vape, some potent strain with some real oils will be a snap. Don't waste the good stuff on your trial "blast"!
I tell folks also to look at some YouTubes while deciding. I find them informative, not in quality ( it's rarely good) but to see how easily they manipulate the unit they are showing.
I'm gonna show you a blast on each of my favorite 3 vapes.
I show my "Fast Blast" (MFLB), "my full session on the move" (Vapir NO2), and "The Workhorse" (my SSV)

There are many vaporizers out there, and there are many people here interested in learning about this. Arzona just made Medical MJ legal. The vaporizer business is about to rocket off the charts, as readers learn how absolutely appealing a "practice" that it is.
In my home area I made a clearinghouse of informative links for vapor enthusiasts (you will see this website linked to it too!) Tucson Vapor Trail (https://twitter.com/#!/AZVaporTrail)
The problem is now, that there will be a bunch of scammers, and cheap "knockoffs" of legit vapes out there. People that do not try to do it correctly.... even with a good vape can be discouraged. Imagine the discouragement if they buy a cheap little vape that falls apart or does not function to specs.
So here is to THIS particular thread growing strong. Let's guide the new vapor enthusiasts in a proper way, so they don't get burned! (no pun intended).

Vaporizing Other Herbs

I have been enjoying trying various herbs for vaporization for a long time.
i found charts of temperatures at which to vaporize the various herbs. There are not any complete lists of temperatures, but when you try any herb, just start low, and work up.. you learn fast enough.
I decided the other day to get the feel for each of the herbs.
I collected 50 herbs (I imagine there will be more in this collection before this experiment is over)
I will do my very first Vapor hits of the day, before I medicate, with an herb.
I will give each herb I try a few days to see what the effects are.
http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m580/VitoloVaporizes/Photoon2011-05-22at12482.jpg
I will compile the complete findings and post them, once my personal study is done!
The SSV (Silver Surfer) will be used for this entire project.

The Prune Juice Bottle Vapor Bong Bubbler
On a bunch of the forums, some of the people are Bong, and "bubbler" enthusiasts. Some spend $100+ for expensive elaborate glass with famous names!
I poked a hole in this empty prune juice bottle to show that us old guys can have a little fun too!
Just for fun!

Last night I saw a question about making a cheap bong for an MFLB.
I had to wait until my wife left for work, because I had no soda bottle, and I was about to poke a hole in her plant mister spray bottle!
Here's the cheap home made MFLB bong.

A Vaporizer Dealer that Cares About the Community
I had posted a video about a new grinder made just for the MFLB at; Grinder for MFLB (http://s1132.photobucket.com/albums/m580/VitoloVaporizes/?action=view&current=Movieon2011-05-26at1824.mp4). It will be sold by PuffitUp.
Play Safe, Vaporize! Puff It Up! (http://www.puffitup.com)
I am in touch with dozens of the Vaporizer dealers, and sellers of supplies. I order a multitude of vape accessories, just to find out who gives good support to clients.
Vaporization has been listed under Health and Pharmaceuticals, and as such we would hope they held customers in an especially high regard.
I spread the name of the companies that treat you guys right, as it should be, they deserve the word of mouth.
I speak with Puffitup on the 24/7 help line, and I jokingly have referred to him on these forums as "Puffy".
I learned a bit more about Puffy (Randy). Randy got into the Vaporizer industry at a young age, after he had started chemo-therapy. Randy is a shining example of a caring person that places the welfare of vaporizer users above the dollar.
Puffitup believes in really good customer service, and this is not just talk.
The prices are great, and shipping is freeā?¦ and fast.
The good part, is you can talk to a live person. Randy does not want to sell you anything you do not need or want. What Randy does want is to answer your questions, honestly and to the point about what part or ape might suit you.
PuffItUp has a small Vapor Lounge in Downtown San Jose.
http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m580/VitoloVaporizes/1photo.jpg
They have been committed to helping people stop smoking , by letting them try vaporization. The Vapor lounge which is located near a Hospital in downtown San Jose is 100% free to patients. They help certified MMJ patients in their immediate area that can not afford vaporizers by donating returned vaporizers.
I endorse PuffItUp, as being one Helluva company, whose deals you would be hard pressed to beat.
Please.. I say with confidence. Call Randy at PuffiUp at 1 (800)420 -4237 with parts questions. Tell him Vito sent you!

I added to my collection of Vaporizers. I have been a fan of the log style vapes, and had a tough decision in deciding.
It was between PD (Purple Days), MZ (MyrtleZap, & WDZ (Woodeez).
After a couple of months of comparison, the MyrtleZap by AromaZap won.
The Vapor tube you see me using with my "Zap" was made by Ed's TNT

-Iolite
Now My household consists of:

I feel so much tidier and more organized, and have been meaning to do this for a long time.
I still am looking into that "next vape" (always!) The Supreme sure looks interesting!

I got the new Power Adapter for the MFLB. It is fantastic too. This is not a BETA. It has a serial number, and the components look wonderful. The wooden base gives it a real classy look too.
Check it out!

I lovingly pulled my bud apart hair by hair, to prepare for vaping. I was THAT old school about it.
I stepped into the future with my acceptance of grinders. I have tested a bunch, and stuck with my faves. Some weed gets put through one, and then a vial is prepared for another vape that uses a finer grind (MFLB for example) and that weed is sent through a different grinder!

I was the diehard that didn't believe in grinders!

I made this one just in good humor. It is in no way a grinder comparison or demo. It is just me getting my meeds ready for a days routine vaping.
The video is 10 minutes long, so if you are easily bored... you will easiliy be bored!
Please note. I do not necessarily consume all of the herb you've seen me prepare. I may share with another vaporist, or may not have to prepare again for a day or two.
I guess what I am saying here, is I like this community, so I am sharing of myself, that you know me better!

The recent popularity of the MFLB has us all trying new techniques and accessories, and testing batteries.
Truth of the matter is we are doing more hits! Good for the herb industry... good for our buzz!
Folks are noticing irritated throats.
The temp of the vape is still 350+, but you are only 2-3 inches away from it as opposed to 3 feet!
People use water etc, but there is a very simple draw technique that cools the vapor before it hits your throat.
My love for doing hits of grade A pot and my love of my Imac camera inspire a very short vid about my own draw technique that involves sipping, but not directly inhaling each sip. Savor the vapor in your mouth for a brief second in time... then inhale!

VTV Presents:
The Dragon Chewer Grindtainer
I got a good plastic grinder today, as a sample, along with an order I placed. I love this thing , and wanted to show it to you.
This video, starts out with a comment about some cheap items I was not happy with, and I show a "credit card grinder" by SneakAVape also (but I was afraid to put any meds on it, for fear they would scatter!)
The Dragon Chewer, is made of mold injected plastic. The teeth are sharp and not glued on, but built in. It acts as an airtight carrying case, and is unbreakable.
It comes in packs of 3 (small medium and large) for $16, free shipping, from Puffitup.
This is the first and only plastic grinder I have ever recommended!

O.K. Vaporists. I now am officially in Zapville. The Yin and yang of Zaps now live together here at my home.
This small collection represents the side of my Vapor Trail that is wood, natural, and aromatic!

Now for you Silver Surfer Fans ( I know I'm one)
My 7th floor order arrived today!
I got a surprise in it... an SSV shirt (very high quality too!)
I am pretty darned happy with the Fatty Vapor Tamer, I can not begin to tell you. My first impression was that it may slow me down, or somehow weaken the strength of my hits, but nothing could have been further from the truth. And the vapor, when cooled through the glycerin medium tasted so fantastic, I couldn't stop.... well see for yourself!

My sincere apologies to all of my friends, but the links to VTV vids do not function. Something unusual happened this morning, and all the vids are gone! I will do my best to get them back!
There is a chance my account was hacked.. but I have reset the password.
The videos did already serve their function.. they were made for you, my friends.
I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason.
I will work on the videos, and will keep posting photos! (the photos were not disturbed!)

Everybody could use a tool like this one.. and EVERY vape owner will love this. I just got a fantastic deal on it too. I am extremely pleased with this "find".
I needed a way to clean and soak not only my regular Zap stems, but my AromaZap Glass Tootie as well.
I researched extra tall shot glasses, but the ones that held 3 ounces began to cost alot and all had engravings!
I found that Libby sold Bud Vases, but they were 18 dollars....
I got this item for $2.50! (I ordered 2!)
