I need help cloning my plants. I cant figure out what Im doing wrong, so someone please try and help my figure this out.
I take a cutting, and cut off all the leaves on it except the top two, and i cut those leaves in half. the cut on the cutting is 45 degrees, and im dipping it into rootech cloning gel, then placing it into a rapid rooter.
I know the humidity needs to be high for clones, and its only 55% in the room im using. That might be the problem, but idk, someone please give me advice. Thank you.

2 things I found very important when I take clones. 1) when you cut your clone from the donor leave it long in length. when you ready to stick in RR make your cut to length underwater and hold cut submersed for about 10-15 seconds, that way no sucking of air bubble. 2) Dont use real thick stemmed clones. If the stem is so thick that you can see it is hollow then it most likely wont take. Seems roots dont like to form from a hollow stem. Lastly Dome=humidity

What TinyToon said plus make sure you're using some kind of rooting agent high in B12.
You need them to be in oxygenated water, I put a drop or two of superthrive in mine. I stay away from rockwool because I've had poor success using it for clones, I have an Aerogarden and when I use the sponge inserts that came with it I've had double the success and actually had roots within four days once, have never been able to get it to do that again so not sure what I did right that one time.
Personally(aside from knowing the strain/sex) I've found fresh seeds to be much more productive and grow much faster. I have seeds and clones started at the same time and there is no comparison in growth rate, 2 to 1 at least.

i use the root riot sponges and after taking the cutting and doing the whole rooting gel dip i put them in the sponges and place the sponge in a solo cup and cover it with a ziplock bag and rubber band to create a humidity dome. The domes work great, but i dont do 50 clones at a time so i dont need to waste the space.

less than 25$ make a bubble cloner. when i trim the lower branches, i dont even cut a 45 angle, just pop em in. ive used the smallest of branches and they root. use just water, they root. id see roots at 7-9 days no joke. be sure to have a humidity dome over it ...its alot easier than it may seem right now.
