As you can see from the pictures I am having a problem with my leaves on this plant. I have others but only one is showing signs of the same thing. I noticed that most of the infected leaves are older leaves that connect to the main shoots. This is my first time with this particular problem and I could use some advice on what may be wrong. Thanks in advance!!!!

I also want to add that I have not experienced any other problems along the way with this plant. It has grown very well and strong without problems.

Let me also add that the underside of the infected leaves are perfectly fine and show no signs of problems.

Hey whats up ya Im almost certain that you have a Mg deficiancy Id get some cal mag and see if that helps, also looks like there being over waterd? Do you let your soil dry out in between waterings?,do you have holes in your buckets? also for future grows i would advise not to go with a mirical grow medium especialy if you add other nutes that time release soil can cause other issues if your not carefull go with eather Foxfarm or Roots or something like that,I use Roots Organic and Its great stuff around 16 bucks for a 30 pund bag I know its alil more than the mg but ull have better results and taste in the end, plus its hard to flush a soil with time release nutes, well hope ive helped take care

I had a feling someone would mention Cal Mag being the solution. I always let my mediums dry out pretty well but not too dry. There is deffinately plenty of holes in the medium and I drilled some of my own to offer more oxygen. I know a lot of people say to stay awayfrom from the MG soil but I have had great results with it (check out my grow log for proof). I do NOT add any other nutes until flowering but I am nowhere near that time yet. The look of over-watering may be because of the humidity, I am trying to lower it 10% to get it around 55% during lights on and 60% with lights off.

Thanks for the help!!! Much appreciated!!!

I personally do not believe this is a cal/mag issue. Especially because it is the lower leaves that are developing these symptoms.
From my understanding (anyone correct me if I'm wrong) cal/mag is an immobile element. So if you had a cal/mag deficiency it would appear on the newer growth.

When you have a deficiency with a mobile element the symptoms first appear in older growth, and then work it's way up.

From your pictures and descriptions it looks like a potassium deficiency to me.
Since you are using the MG six month, I would recommended doing a complete flush with ph'ed water. This should help pop some of those nutrient capsules in the soil and make sure you don't have any dry spots in you soil.

I am by no means an expert and this is just my :twocents:
Best of luck and happy growing. :hippy:

Thanks for the reply guys but I just noticed today that this is happening to 2 of my other plants now. I am starting to think that the bag of soil I used is lacking or has too much nutes of certain kinds. Because this problem is occuring to multiple plants, the soil is the only thing I can come up with. Whatever it is, its spreading quite fast. I tried a dose of cal mag today and we'll see what happens. If anyone else has any idea please let me know. Thanks!!!

Sorry it's taken so long for an update but I wanted to give the ladies enough time to recover fully before I shared my results. Results couldn't be better!!!

My ladies are doing better than ever. Ever since I started using Cal-Mag and a few pellets of nitrogene in each watering, the results haven't been better. They all were fully recovered within a week and the growth on the leaves stopped almost instantly. I would still like to know what exactly happened to make my ladies do that and why it affected all of them??? I am assuming it had something to do with lack of nutes in my soil but oh well, problem is solved and now I know how to fix it if it happens again.

Thanks for the advice!!!
