Hello, I had MM in Los Angeles, and I was actually very pleased with how easy it was to do - I originally went to a doctor for chronic stomach pain and anxiety, and was able to get MM by showing a failed course of treatment.

I'm not sure how easy it is in Seattle, though, and I'm not all that hot on the idea of dropping over $100 to have someone tell me no. Can anyone recommend a course of action or a doctor? Will I need a referral from a physician, or prescriptions, or just to describe my symptoms?

Just to make it clear, I'm not looking to get around anything. I just really despise having to go through the whole process of starting a new medical history in a new town, and waiting while everyone goes through the motions to cover their ass.

Its not as easy to get as in cali. If you have doctor chart notes to show you have a pain issue and it documents that regular medicine hasn't solved the problem you should be able to get an authorization. Opiate intolerance is a good symptom for getting authorized. Most of the MMJ doctors in Washington will not charge you if they don't approve you.

Washington is actually fairly lax in that you don't even have to register with the state and the recommendation can come from a doctor, advanced RN, physician, or physician assistant. It's recommended the recommendation have the proper wording though and this site (http://get-medical-marijuana-now.com/how-to-get-medical-marijuana-in-washington/) has a link to a form that's recommended to be filled out, though again is not required. Best of all... :pimp: 24 OUNCES! That's right, once you have it you can legally possess 24 ounces of medical marijuana.

good luck!
