ok, ive been expirmenting with salvia, ive read how to make an extract, which i will be trying. but my first question, the extract recipe calls for Isopropanyl or somthin.. is this like something i can go out and buy? or is it like nail polish remover or somethin?? my next question.. salvia with water smells good.. but when its smoked with water it smells god aweful... i know salvia isnt water souluble.. .but i made a tea out of it. and dunno if i should drink it or not.. all i did was grind up some leaf into powder and mixed/heated it with water.. will this do anyhting to me?

I don't think the tea will do much.
You could always use the leaves and try a sublingual administration. (Via putting it under your tongue, and letting it obsorb).
Isopropynol (sp?) is basically rubbing alcohol. But you'd want to get i think its either 90 or 100 %. I think that its more efficient to just buy the extract via internet, but go ahead if you want to experiement.

yeah... Isopropanyl (sp?) alcohol is essentially rubbing alcohol, though you might have to go to a drug store or something to get pure alcohol.
As far as the tea idea, I don't really think that it would work, but you are more than welcome to try it.
Also, when you are making the tincture you are doing this with pure leaves, right? I wouldn't suggest using extract (20x or whatever) because you won't be able to make very much tincture at all, due to the low substance-to-liquid ratio.
