About two years ago a friend and myself decided to embark on a lil expirement to see whet we could do. So I went to canada and bought some white widow seeds. Fastforward about ten weeks or so and we couldnt believe that these tops were solid white! Not covered with trichomes but SOLID white. We just thought it could have been a characteristic of the strain. However, some things happened and we were forced to shut down and lost the genetics.
We decided to start back up and i just aquired some random seeds that were supose to be from som "good".again, fastforward about ten weeks and ill be damned if these tops werent white as well! we are using the same nutrient solution as before and we are useing LEDs. that is about all we could come up with. i was wondering if anyone has ever had similar results? and by the way, the white smokes soooo much more different than the rest of the plant. doesnt make much sense to me but im a rookie.they are always very very resinous.Any help or input from the pros on here would be greatly appreciated.

Correct:thumbsup:

Light and heat stress can cause bleaching in plants. The yellowing is due to the chlorophyl that is leaching out of the leaf/bud. When this happens, the "bleached" leaves/buds are unable to photosynthesize correctly. The heat stress comes in when the lamp is too close and their is not enough air exchange. Might want to raise your lights a bit or up your air exchange rate or both....... Hope this helps......

Happy Growing!!!
