phototron 6 soil and nute recomendation

I have a phototron 6 (just given to me) and some white widow seed and want to start plants indoors then move outdoors when weather allows. i have all the stuff that comes with the phototron , ie: the spagnum moss and the nutrent mix, will this work with my white widow or is there a better way. can anyone recommend soil and nutes that i should be using for a successfull grow? this is my first attempt at growing my own herb.

i was also given a daisy 8 cloner and may try making clones of plant before sending it outside. any recomendations onuse of the cloner?

i have been reading all the forums the last couple of days trying to get info.

last day at 24 hr of light going to 12/12 tomorrow

day 20, day 5 of 12/12, some light areas on leafs and a spot am watering every other day and adding nutes every third day. using what came with the phototron. any suggestions
