Hello Democrates !

Ok, So i have these sativas on the 12/12 cycle for about a week / wk'n 1/2, now.

They are not turning for me ! > Question : Can i turn the lights off at this point for
24 or 48 hrs straight ?...to help them along ?

Some Sativa strains take longer to flower than others. From Sativa's that I've grown in the past, I wouldn't see flowers until the 18th-24th day of 12/12. There is someone on here by the name WashougalWonder, check out his current Sativa grow.------>http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/193795-ww-thai-log.html He's going to be flowering his for like 100+ days.

I wouldn't give them 24-48 hours of darkness, but that's just me. I think it's better to keep the plant on a constant light cycle, rather than throwing it off. I mean, when has the sun ever hid for 24-48 hours? But like I said, that's just me.....

+1 to what CanGrowIt said.

I wouldn't shut the lights off for an extended period of time at this point. I'm nearly 2 weeks into flower on a Durban Poison, it's just now starting to show signs of budding. The G-13 that went in at the same time has little bud points all over it! :D

Patience is a virtue with quality buds.

Definately keep the light cycle going you don't want to throw it off track better to be safer than sorry.
