Hi Everyone!
As you can tell by the title I am putting together my first grow! I have been doing alot of research and reading the post's which you all have posted and they have been very helpful. However saying that I could still use any assistance which could be given!
First off, I am planning on ordering Afghan Kush X White Widow from the tude. I selected this strain because of its short grow time and its high resistance to disease and mold. Because of that I figured it would be a good strain to start with! (Plus it sounds dank as hell :D)
Now I will tell you about the items that I plan to put in my grow tent. Once again I am new so if you have any improvements I would greatly appreciate it!
1. 48X24X60 grow tent (reflective mylar inside)
2. Light- Sun System 2-400 Watt which I will use an MH bulb for veg and HPS for flowering
3. ventilation- I am working on a budget so this is one area I could definatly use some help on. I found a 4 inch fan from sears (GRO1 4 inch High-Output In-Line Duct Fan) for 70 bucks and a carbon scrubber filter (GRO1 Hydronponics Carbon Scrubber Filter-4in x 10in) for 50 bucks. Would this be a decent set-up? and would I also need some sort of exhaust system?
Any suggestions or improvements on seed strain, seed bank, light, ventilation, or anything that could improve my overall growing would be greatly appreciated!
