ok as I said, I took the test Friday

it was the last test of the day and they dont do testing I belive because sample was placed in a bag to be sent out(I think) she said it would take 24-48 hours for the employer to hear back

here it is tuesday and I still have not heard anything, is it possible they did not recieve the sample until yesterday and it could take until tomorrow? I am a contractor at the job salready the HR person is working with me to go fulltime pending this test and I have not heard from her yet, I did a home test 5 minutes before I went in to do the real one and it tested negative

the slip I recieved said Test Requested:35536N

is it possible with the weekend and last test of the day that I am being paranoid and should just wait a little longer, Imean not like I have a choice (:

its not like I can call the HR person and ask if I passed?

this forum is the only calm from the insanity right now, ThankYou

If you dont hear anything by Friday, consider yourself passed. In the world of drug testing, no news means good news.
NEVER inquire about the test results! A clean person would never do this because, being clean, there is no reason to do so and asking for the results will only draw suspicion. You do want to be viewed as a "clean person", is that correct?

Just carry on with your job duties in the manner that a clean person would and stop worrying. You would be notified if there were any problems with the urine sample.

oh, I was under the impression that if you do not hear anything it means it got sent to the lab for a gas test, my start date is not until may so I may send her a quick question friday unrelated to the test (paperwork etc) just to make sure?

This. Employers typically do not go out of their way to tell you that you passed. And why would even think about asking? Use common sense, bro.
