I have a website...www.growweed.com. Sounds like you can benefit from my book. Also there is a section of hydro from my book on Cannibis.com. Check it out. Coloradojane

Hey gaz, I have no idea about the growweed book because i have never seen it but I can tell you that one of the best books I have ever read was integral hydroponics by G. Low. You can only get it at the web site right now. Click here (http://www.integralhydroponics.com/index.php/about_us/welcome) to go to the site.

If you use a watering can and nutrients then that is basic hydroponics.
Replace your soil with canna coco, rockwool ,sand, perlite, clay pebbles, whatever and replace your watering can with an automatic means of watering e.g pump.
All the info for your nutrients will be on the bottle.
It does sound very complicated if you have never done it but it,s pretty simple realy.
You need to keep a close wach on em till you know they have settled down and r happy with thier enviroment and food . But after that they,ll be up and away.
Go for it you,ll never look back.

The books make it seem a lot more complicated than it is. It soooooo easy. As long as youve got a decent growroom. Your first crop will pay for all the equipment youve bought. Theres plenty of people to give good advice although sometimes different bits of advice seem to conflict with each other. youve just gotta find the way which
is best for you. You never stop learning and the more you learn, the better it gets

New things can look / sound complicated some times. Loads of great information on hydro on the Internet. I know a couple of growers using simple hydro systems since the 1980's with excellent results.
Good Growing!

gaz2020 i have thought about it for a while and like u was put off with all the technical stuff u read in some books I have thought it would be a great idea if someone wrote one of those Idiots guide to...... but outside of that idea..if u are lucky enough to know someone who is into it then pick thier brains 9 times of 10 u will be hard pushed to shut them up... thier so proud of thier setups they can't wait to show off to a novice...I would say go with it try a starter kit about £150 without light ..

1st of all loving the "duppy". Great reference to the Jamaican deviler. Haven't come across that in a long time.
Just wondering if you filtered thru all the "advice" you got on hydro?? I connected quite awhile ago to let you knowhow you can go from seed to bud in 90 days w/hydro. I have a website...growweed.com. If you e-mail me at
[email protected], I'll give you a free download (it's usually 19.95) and you can get the book I spent 6 years on!.. Bekind?coloradojane
