1ST BATCH!

Ok I made my 1st batch of bubble hash:thumbsup: used a 5 bag system, 25, 75, 120, 160 and 220! I screened my "produce" 2 times.

The pic below shows the results from both strainings, starting at the bottom of the plate (6:00-12:00) is the results of the 1st screening, the stuff at 6:00 is the 1st bags results, I think this stuff is more like marijuana then hash, but I like it!

Just left and above that is the results from the final bag (25) the stuff at the top (11:00 and 12:00) were the results from the bags in between, the stuff at 1:00 and about 4:00 is from the 2nd batch!

Now here's my 1st question, at 1st each bag was getting lighter in color as I pulled them out but the the last bag (the 25) was more of a dark green/brownish color! is this normal? isn't it supposed to turn more blond with each finer bag?

also how much water do you want to drain from the final product? do you want to leave some moister, or get it as dry as possible? and last how long do you dry it before smoking and storing? thanks all

That depends on how gently you mashed.
Should be enough to knock off the resin without ripping leaf and rupturing cell walls.

Once it's dry enough to store without molding, the rest is just personal preference.:cool:

But, here's a tip.
Get an oven bag.
The kine you roast a turkey in.
Put a couple grams of BH between two layers and iron it!

Seriously.
Set it for "silk" and iron your meds until they are a dark brown, almost black.
Then toss it inna fridge for a while and it peels right off the bag material
The heating de-carboxylates it.
Not only will it smoke better, it is also now activated for ingestion.

Chloroplasts typically range between 10-30 microns in size, sometimes larger but rarely.

A 25 micron screen will capture them. I don't use anything lower than a 40 micron bag for the finest mesh.

That's why you've got the green color in the finest batch.

If you used the "Seans 1000w" bags watch out for the neopreen sealant pealing off of the inside of the 40 and 25 bags. I did 4 runs total, and noticed some problems when I rinsed the 25 with warm water (not hot, just tepid) Maybe my bad, but I can't have my bathroom smelling that strongly of weed! :eek:
