I am new to AZ and have my doctor's certification, but am looking to "re-stock". Since I just moved I have no connections, so if interested, hit me up...I could use the help since it's going to take so damn long for dispensaries to open here! Thanks for reading:rasta:

Well if you buy in to Will Humble's take on prop 203; all that you speak of is illegal until you enter into his program. Will Humble is the Director of the Arizona Department of Health Services and he is the guy looking out for your best interests, cough, cough.

My condolences man.

Ha-I hear you. I used to be an attorney and my understanding is that if you are a qualifying patient you can get from another qualifying patient, even if a dispensary isn't open yet. I came here from CO and didn't think the process would take this long. Good to know someone is looking out for my best interests! ;)

I'm set for about another week as I came to AZ prepared, just sucks hitting a new state and not knowing anyone yet. They say dispensaries will open in Sept. here, but who knows. In the meantime, I just holding on to that last bit if you know what I mean! ;)

Sucks this place is so dry. I used to use for recreation, but now need it more medically than anything else. Just sucks they way they set things up out here. It will be fine once it's running (fingers crossed), but in the meantime, dry out here bigtime.

That's a smart idea. Dispensaries can be expensive. I know out here, they made all the conditions so tough on dispensary owners, that it is anybody's guess who will actually be taking over them. Probably big business that knows little to nothing about buds. I have heard the medicinal strains are more expensive but worth the money.

Ive got the skills, tools, and experience and am planning on setting up a grow here in AZ to supply 5 of those in need (and greater than 25 miles from a dispensary).
Law here will let a caregiver grow for 5 people given that those folks live greater than 25 miles from a dispensary.
Hit me up. I'm gonna be planting my 12 plants in 20 days.
It actually sounds like an open house until the dispensaries open. I suspect we can all grow until then as long as your registered.

You should try Cannabis Patient Evaluation Center in Tempe. They cheap and only charge if you are approved. Super easy process with right medical records.

mohave county report,. no doctors known that will prescribe. we may car pool to a big az city.

Out near the river in Mohave County I know for a fact there are physicians willing to provide recommendations. Some in Bullhead City and one in Mohave Valley are providing them to California residents from Needles, right across the river- but things are indeed sketchy. I know an individual who called to set an appointment very recently. When she mentioned she wanted to speak to the physician about medical marijuana she was referred to their rookie nurse who got on the phone and immediately became irate telling this longtime patient that if she was a current medical marijuana patient or asked the doctor about it she could no longer be a patient with their office even though that doctor had been her family physician for many, many years.

The funny part is I know this doctor, we've given him a stack of business cards from our collective across the river in California and have received several patients who have medical marijuana recommendations provided by him. Apparently he hasn't briefed his staff on the situation.

So yeah, it's happening in Mohave County but still a pain in the ass.
