Ok, I have a g-force 4 weeks into flowering. I veged it for 4 weeks and did a little bit of LST on it. and I have it in a 5 gallon bucket and it seems to be rootbound, just slowed growth. How much stress will it put on her if I do it as soon as possible?

I'm thinking about throwing it into a 10gal tote just so it has a TON of root room.

Thanks for any advice! 274224

When you say "slowed growth" do you mean that the buds seem to have stopped growing or that the plant is no longer stretching?

If you do decide to transplant, make sure you are 200% sure that it IS root bound. Cause if it isn't, well it's just going to be a waste of added nutes and added water to properly water/feed twice the amount of soil.......just my 2 cents.....

Oh and if you do transplant, it might only shock for a day or two then resume.....

There is no way a plant is going to be root bound in a 5 gal bucket after vegging for 4 weeks and 4 wks in flowering. Root bound is not your problem.

Let it dry out and transplant it..it's not gonna hurt it..it's not brain surgery..just do it when it is dry and water in good...also use the same dirt that u r currently using

Another option is to carefully cut off the bottom of ur pot and place that pot inside another one that has more dirt.

I'd say you only have 4 weeks or so to go, it doesn't look unhappy, so why mess with it? Are you flushing it once a week to keep the salts down?
