In my previous grows I have used Bush Master and ran it for 4 to 5 days on the last week of Veg. This grow I lost track of time and ran Bush Master for 5 days during the first week of flowering (12/12)
Does running Bush Master during 12/12 vs 18/6 make that much of an effect/difference??
Pics are 2 weeks into flowering.273781273783

Well, I used Bush Master once or twice a couple of years ago. I used it in flowering when I felt the girls were stretching and I thought this might help. It did. It stopped growth almost instantly. However, when it came to my crop, the buds were rock hard... almost like marbles! I have not used it since...

Im a frequent bushmaster user and love the shit. It looks like you may have run it for too long, thats where the excessive leaf curl comes in. Bushmaster containts a VGI(vertical growth inhibitor) that WILL stop vertical growth, decrease node spacing(to the point of super rock hard colas), as well as greatly increase the speed of transition to bloom.
What i do is run in through my recirculating system for 4-5 days at half strength(i cant remember what the bottle says exactly but i just cut it in half). I do this the first week of flowering, the day i switch to 12/12. At day 4 or five I start to notice the pretty good leaf curl starting on the newest colas, then I dump the res and get rid of the BM. This seems like the sweet spot for me, you just have to experiment.273849

Well, you've given me some encouragement, and I think I may pick up a bottle next time I go to my shop. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the bush master insight, yep I think you are right too much for too long. I used what the bottle said (1 ml per gallon) and ran it for 5 1/2 days. Next time will do like you and go 1/2 strength 4 to 5 days. Thanks again. :)
