high all....im from ireland....the bud situation over here is an absolute disgrace.....for about 4 years now,i would say 99% of the bud thats being imported is contaminated-sprayed with glass,silica,fibre glass,sand blasting materials.to name just a few....this is all for added weight and to create the illusion of frosted nugs...when in fact this stuff is potentially lethal....there have been reports in different parts of europe of people being hospitalised from smoking this stuff....it is so unbeleivably frustrating....recently ive found out that not only is it being imported,but these scumbag fucking cunts are now jumping on the band wagon and have started to grow it and spray it over here....not only that,sometimes you get the odd batch of sticky black...but this is just glorified soap bar hash.....it is absolute shit too....i wouldnt actually say there is any thc in it at all....just kodine and other fucking shit to give you the illusion of being stoned....the government are fully aware of the situation but they will not announce a public warning because their attitude is that"well,you shouldnt be smoking it any way".....okay ill just go to the pub and drink myself into the ground,like every other fucker in this piss riden,junkie and alcho filled country...when eventually good bud comes around....its 50 euros for just under 2 grams....its fucking more expensive than cocaine....oh yeah,and if i wanted cocaine,heroin,crack,speed,extacy etc.i could get it in a heart beat....all i want is to be able to smoke a joint that wont potentialy put holes in my lungs...and trying to do that is an absolute mission....i really really hope that the next leglize mj campaign in california works out better than last...because if it is legalized in cali,then that is the big domino for the rest of the world....take a leaf from amsterdam,tolerance works,and regulation and taxation....prohibiting anything is creating crime and creating greed and money hungry scum that have no concern for the health of a people:mad::mad::mad:.....please watch my vid..its a clip of contam weed under a microscope...comment and rate

I hear you. It is too bad that prohibition has led to such a strong degradation of the weed available. Even in Cal kids can get speed easier than weed because it is cheaper.

I went to Ireland in 2002 and was afraid to ask the locals for weed since I did not know the laws. It is probably a good thing I did not find any because the odds are it would have been adulterated. Like you said I had to drink way more than I actually enjoy just to take the edge off. I had a bad hangover most days and just had to drink more to get over it. I usually drink alcohol less than once per week. In Ireland I started drinking at lunch every day then had more drinks in the afternoon then went out to a pub to drink more after dinner. Man I sure wanted a doobie.

Looks like the only think you can do is grow your own. But looks like they are harsh on that too. If you order seeds or buy growing equipment they will come by after a few months to see what you are doing. If they find anything they take it and arrest you. You need to buy everything with cash from folks that don't know you.

It is amazing the we have prohibition on marijuana but you can drink yourself sensless at any time.

Sorry to hear your situation mate. About all I can suggest is the same as the lad ahead of me- grow your own (or encourage/assist a grower in your area).

Personally, I refuse to purchase my cannabis via the black market regardless of the legal risks for growing it myself; for a lot of reasons not the least of which is risk of adulteration of the end product and the unhealthy consumption of same. Of course they donâ??t drag you out of your house and shoot you for growing in my current jurisdiction either.

You just need to weigh your risks and make choices in life. Some decisions aren't easy to make.

As has already been noted, unless you grow your own, even if it isn't dusted with silica sand, you really don't know what chemicals were used to grow it or what insecticides were used when.

I can remember once buying some killer cannabis in the early 70's that it turned out had been sprayed with PCP.
