poss of a new chat?

i was wondering..i know how Ron feels about the age thing round here..so i was talking to some friends here and i think we have a plausible compromise..the chat these days has become pretty disrespectful and childish very often..granted all kids that come around arent acting a fool, and plenty of adults come through and act as foolish, but im gonna be honest here..i am 32 and talking to a 15 year old about adult topics is a lil weird sometimes, and happens more and more recently..it isnt so much what ppl think it is and all, more about adult conversation with adults sometimes..so i was wondering, in my small, mostly ignorant stoner mind, if one of the other rooms we can make into another chat, an adult chat, and maybe we can also make an under 18 or under 21 chat..we surely could use existing rooms..anyway, lemme know if this seems something even discussable..my friends and i put alot of thought and work into this idea and have some great soultions that will cost nothing and just give us more options here..

:D ICKY...my friend there is no need for you to feel silly in regards to this suggestion...there have been serveral ppl here that have mentioned the same thing to me. Over the weekend I have had a few encounters with with younger members here and each time it has been totally uncalled for. I will bring this to Rons attention next time I see him here.... :D

Thank you both. No disrespect to the younger people but, I'm an older person and sometimes I can't relate to the conversation (unless you know some Granny rap? J/k). I would enjoy an adult group to chat with.

There are no age restrictions.

A Cafe Member only chatroom within the current chat is being considered.

With that said, there is already more than one room in the chat - folks should try using those; room list is shown on right-hand side in chat.

well...in that case, when there is a chat room for cafe members, i would gladly and immediately become a member for it..until then, i will just not come around..i have been here for 7 months or so and when i came here to chat it was awesome..now it is full of kids i have nothing in common with and cant talk to em, unless you know how much dxm and all they should take..i understand the no age restrictions, but on another thought here, anyone ever think how unhealthy it is for these 13 and 14 and 15 year old to be in a chatroom with adults with drugs as a topic? if it was your kids, would you want them there? i would be heartbroken if my daughter at 13 and 14 was in here..

anyway, i am sure ill get flamed for this..i am not trying to challenge you Ron, at all..i respect you and am not doing anything but venting..(dont ban me guys..lol)..thanks for listening to me and this is all i will say on this subject here from now on..thank you for giving me the freedom to express my opinion without judgement and retaliation..

I understand where you're coming from Icky. But to be honest I cud think of worse chat sites for youngsters to come to. Most of the time there are at least a couple of regulars in there, only too happy to give out advise and talk to the teens. Let's face it - if they're gonna experiment, which they are.......at least let them have access to decent information and folks that know what they're talking about.
There is nothing stopping anyone going to a different room and inviting a gang there to chat, away from the 13/14yr olds. Especially when there's 17/18+ people in main chat.

There defenitly seems to be a croud I usually chat with, with timing and what not. And they all seem in there 20s, I think since I get on at 1-3 am Alaska only older people in America or people in Australia, RARRRRRR!, are on. There are a few anoying people, and I have obviously been anoying to people who weren't even there :( well, they should be able to get on. But really, flaming sucks and don't do it :D

You can count me in on the older then dirt chat room. At least that is how I feel around here, heck I'm twice as old as some of the people that chat here. Now I don't have a problem with anyone. It's just I have a child only a couple of years younger then some people that chat here, and that does bother me although I have kept it to myself. I'm not out to offend anyone, but at the same time I'm offened by some things that have been said. Just my opinion, and man, do I feel old around here. AND I'M NOT OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lulus right their are far worse chatrooms these kids could be going to and yea kids r gonna do what they want so why not instead of putting them down just because of their age we should advise them so they can do it right if they do wanna take drugsn yea using another is a good idea but if these kids wanna annoy u they will just follow u to whichever room u r in
i say leave it as it is n anyone who acts a fool or being abusive in chat report them to a mod thts what they r there for n then they can take the appropriate action to deal with them...

ive been comin here now for 7 yrs on n off n u will never get rid of all the idiots so u either notify mods to them n there behaviour here n carry on or dont come here at all
