Howdy all. About 1 week ago I started seeing webs on the top buds. The leaves have all but dried up. Would the use of Neem Oil & ProTekt at this point help or have I pretty much lost this one? Seems b4 seeing the webs the leaves started getting rust spots? This is on a THC Bomb plant and it appears to be spreading to an Afgan Kush plant.
Thanks alot for any help.

Also, from what I've read I know that the Neem Oil can leave a bad taste if used too late so I was thinking of extending the harvest an additional week to try and avoid this.
Thanks again.

I would say your past the point that neem would help. The protekt is just an imulsefier that just softens the neem oil. It's best to set your bottle of neem in a warm bath.

Yes.. It will leave a taste in your mouth that you will not soon forget! I would get a spray bottle and just try blasting them off with plain ph'd water. Make sure you turn your fan on them so you won't have a mold issue.

Thanks for your info Ga Grown. I picked up some Neem Oil only and did apply it using tepid water. Since this is my firsttime growing hydro I made the mistake of growing 3 different strains. The prob strain is THC Bomb. The Afgan Kush and Jewel are not as far along as the THC Bomb. Since a few of the leaves on the Jewel plant are getting some rust spots I decided to just spray everything even if this means losing the THC Bomb plant.
Thing that I wonder is how did I get these since I started from seed. The Jewel plant is in soil next to the others and I'm thinking my probs may have been intro'd by this plant as I bought it at a dispensary and it may have had stuff in the soil.
Lastly, any thoughts on why this happened so late in the cycle? Should I not have had this prob long b4? Seems prob did not appear until about 4 weeks into flowering.
Anyways, again I thank you for your advice.

Let me say this to start with.. I'm not a hydro guy.. I do the soil thing. It's alot less forgiving in 99% of situations..The only reason I can see is that your humidity is high.. They love HPS light and high humidity..Your canopy got filled in and left an umbrella. In most cases with hydro it's humid under the canopy. They love the undersides of the leaf. The stalk and stems are just the highways they travel. Don't really matter if from seed or clone. You would still had gotten them.Given the right environment.

NO NEEM THIS LATE....it will taste gawdawful.......

Go ahead and harvest, but leave on the branch.....hang for awhile and the mites will leave the plant at the stem end, you can have sticky tape up there to trap them.....the mites will leave a dead plant.

It's too late now. I've sprayed everything as best as possible. I am going to leave it for just 1 more week and hope some of the taste will have disapated by then. I will then hang it in the garage with some sticky tape as you advised. The Afgan Kush and Jewel started to show signs of infection but I think I caught those in time.
I some ways I guess I'm lucky. The infected plant (THC Bomb) is by far the smallest and I will not take too hard of a hit if the others keep going at their present rate.
7 yrs of growing outside in So CA and never once did I have any probs with bugs or infection. Oh well. I've learned so much with this first hydro grow that I'm confident next harvest will be more impressive.
Thanks alot for taking the time to respond and for your advice.
