MIRC

I had posted a Thread about MIRC and if anyone thought it would be a good addition to the community, in the short time that post was up before the forums went down, a few of you did respond thinking it was a good idea. I started a chat room for us on a smaller IRC network. Here is a link to a java based client that requires no downloads or installs, simply choose your nickname and enter the chat.

nice client... and a very painless way to get on Usenet. I checked into your chat room and found in the MOTD that it was identified as a RI centered group though and not looking at the entire medical community. Since I don't live in RI, I left. I give you an A+ in original thinking... but wouldn't it have a better chance of being popular if you opened it up a bit? --Emmie

Yes, It might have made it more popular, but there are already a bunch of IRC rooms on multiple servers on the subject of medical marijuana, I was looking for something more local, to focus on local issues and dealing. To my knowledge there was no such room for RI.
