Hi All,

I have been lurking around here since I began my application last year. I just didnā??t think it was appropriate for me to post anything until after I received my approval. The process did take a while, and I do not know if I am allowed to do this or not, but I would like to offer my thanks to Desert Healer. Without the help from them, I am sure; I would have been floating in a limbo somewhere. I am sorry if I am not allowed to mention ANY names as I just did, so if any of the supreme commanders here are going to spank me, please be gentle, I do learn from my mistakes!! I did read the rules, but it is possible I might have missed instructions relating to names, and do not wish to begin on the wrong foot. Also, I have NO affiliation with Desert Healer, I was only an applicant, but they were quite efficient, friendly, and determined to help.

It was much quicker to obtain my PPL, such a pleasant surprise. As I have been too late for the last 3 orders for delivery to the south here, the hunt for clones begins! For many months I have been reading the grow logs here, and the support that goes along with it, I am quite impressed with help offered and the results achieved. With spring in the air I am anxious to get started!

It was a nice mistake to find this site. Actually, I was looking for grow lights, I was thinking of trying to grow orchids again, and for some reason I found cannabis.com. Honestly, until I found this site I did not know that NM had this programā?¦pats self on back for the good find!

I must admit when I received the list of providers I was kind of disappointed that there are not many in the southern part of the state, and now with the attempt by the polā??s to end the program, I do not expect to see any additional producers being willing to take a chance applying for a license. Especially with the increased fees, which I believe are in effect, but I will remain hopeful.

You know I need to say that during the long approval process I had said something to the people helping me that, as my application was taking place during the NM campaign season that as soon as I received my approval that someone in the state was going to attempt to end the program. So sad to see my prediction came true. Fingers crossed for everyone here that we see the result we all need and hope for.

Best to All,

Greg

. . . is that you applied a year ago and you still haven't been approved? It looks like after a year with no results, You ARE floating in limbo. and judging from your post, the only way I'm going to get into the program is to go to someone named "Desert Healer"?
And not knowing the lingo, what is a PPL?
What I guess I need to know is Where, How, and How much? Does insurance cover it? can I get it at the pharmacy?

Hi Lynhal, and thanks. I agree, Ralphie has always been a favorite. I was going to use a wet pants pic, but didn't want to embarrass him...hehe.

No, it did not take me a year, but it took a while. Part of my initial delay was that my Doc is in El Paso, which is not acceptable for NM. Too bad too, because he would have signed.

The PPL is the Personal Production License. I applied for the PPL after being approved into the program. I can only speak for myself here, others might have had different results with their insurance policies, but no-one accepted insurance for the application process. As far as cost, I do not know if that is allowed to be mentioned here, and whether it is proper to do.

You can find Desert Healer on the site here.

Best of Luck,

Greg

Hi Mellow,

I am guessing LIMBO? Yeah it is okay for about the first 5 minutes, then the frustration begins to set in.
