I got a medical clone from a legal source and I need to know what is going on with it. It went a day without any light source but had circulation and it looked fine and healthy. The next day I got a 150w HPS and have run it for about 15 hour light cycles for 2 days. Its had the correct amount of nutrients and water has a 80 to 20% mix of soil to fertilizer. i wish I could send a pic so you guys could see it but Im not sure if thats a no-no. Is it cool? Anyways im new to this certain plant but I have done a whole lot of veggies and other stuff. Anyways the problem is... the color is just an absolutely beautiful bright green but the leaves seem to be a little saggy, kinda like it had been under or over watered but im sure thats not it. Any help would be greatly appreciated before "she" is dead. Thanks in advance. The strain is Mango.

Make sure to spray often. Place it under a humidity dome.
Does the clone have a developed root system or is it new? If it doesn't have a good root system yet then you could be loosing water from transpiration in the leaves.
Why 15 hours? Marijuana veg likes 18/6 or 24. Clones like more indirect light until their root system grows out. I run my lights 24 hours a day.

@omni
Like I said this is my first grow of this type of plant so Im a total noob at it. Im not really sure what you mean by a developed root system, I assume you mean has it established roots into where it was transplanted from a plastic cup it was started in when I got it. Not really sure of the answer. When I got the "cup" it came in, it was set into some type of foam constrictor I assume to keep it from moving. So when I got it, like other plants, I did the "breaking-up" of the dirt that was compacted in the cup and then transplanted it so that the roots could break out.

I think you're over-reacting....I don't really see anything wrong...it's young, it obviously has roots established...Looks healthy for that light, which is not going to be enough...I wouldn't be getting the leaves wet under a light tho anymore, just asking for rot and burn problems...Start reading sticky's here and learning...everything you will ever need to know about growing is here somewhere, and we were all noobs once. Start with lighting section, basic growing, FAQ's, grow logs, basic growing...then go to the Lounge and get every book you could ever want about this (search MimbresValley posts) and start downloading and reading (at least look at the pics!)...by the time that plant is nearing finish, you can be near to being an expert! Let 'er rip! :bonghit:

... that the plant looks okay in the picture but what it dosent show, that appears is getting much worse is a look that bugs are getting at it but it has never been outside. The lighting is just over a foot away from the plant so its not too close. I never water while the lights are on because I know that it will burn, its the same as growing any other plant outdoors in the summer where I live. It gets to 115 degrees in the summer so I would assume it does the same under a light. The light you are seeing on the stove is while it was on an "off light" cycle and sitting under the hood of the stove so it could get the ventilation from the fan above it (there is just a little bulb above it so I could get the pic).

No no...the 150w is fine...the oven light won't do!;) I gotta stop kiddin people who think they have a big problem...And 115 is pretty dam hot to pot plant! They kinda shut down at around 90-95...don't spray it while the lights are on...it makes a small mag glass under a strong light and burns a spot!
Man if you think you have bugs...get a mag glass and look on the underside of the leaves...if you see little spider mites, deal with it right away!

Ok, No bugs. After a little searching I am starting to think that it could be root rot. I just pulled it out of the little pot that I had originally put it in and had thoroughly cleaned a 5 gal bucket with vinegar and water. When I pulled the plant out there were pretty white roots and some that were brown (this isnt to say that it couldnt just be wet dirt on the roots making them look brown and dead). It is an untrained eye I am working with here, after all. I wasnt talking about growing herb in the heat outdoors. I was trying to say that when I plant veggies outdoors I know not to spray them with the sun beating down on them. This is my first "fictitious" pot plant.
Thanks for the info everyone, feel free to add more

Uhggg,..... First, fill out the form if you think there's actually a problem.
Second, I don't see anything looking remotely wrong in those pics other than the light might be a bit close, but I'm not familiar with the heat output of a 150w.
Third, 5 gallons is HUGE for that small of a plant,.... if your looking to encourage Root Rot, that would be a good way to do it. ;) The plants root structure doesn't fill the bucket, so any water you add will just sit there until it evaporates. By the time you've got a plant that actually needs a 5 gallon, your little 150w will only light 1/4 of it :hippy:
Lastly, I've seen multiple threads where growers were experiencing similar problems while veging under HPS,... There's a strong possibility you have no problems at all and are just having newb paranoia:twocents:
Some growers say its fine to vege under HPS, but I like the way my girls look under the blue spectrum of MH :pimp:
