First time Grower

Hey people I'm new to growing and just got my mmj card. Well I have these 2 love potion strain that i got from the medical doctor place. The plants are 6 weeks old I topped my plant for a bigger yield. As of now its growing indoors but I will move it out as soon as the weather here in central valley hits 66-75.
I'm not sure if my plants are healthy or not but they have Powdery Mildew on it I have tried the baking soda spray but it doesn't seem to work and have burnt my little leaves that were starting to grow. I will let it heal and then try the milk spray? I'm not using any nutes as of now just fert and water, and I will be getting some molasses soon so I'll use that and see how it turns out. Can you guys tell me if I am currently doing good or not as my first 2 plants?

looks ok...wanna do better?...MORE LIGHT POWER....you can't give these plants enough light(well,ya can)..put Y connectors on your light sockets,that will double your out put.....use the bright whits cfl's for veg(what you're doin now)...then you want to change to a lower spectrum,(more yellow)to flower...and MOST important......READ READ READ,there are thousands of people here ,thats have been where you are...read their posts,look at their pics...basic plan...water,water,water,LIGHT,LIGHT,LIGHT,start off slow on nutrients(dilute to 1/5 strength)build from there.....and don't worry about babying them....THEY ARE WEEDS...great fuckin weed,but still weed...i split one in half(accident)down to the soil a month ago,tied two opposing limbs together,(no medicines)and the bitch is still living(probably turn hermie)keep the stress to the plant minimal,and you'll do great....good luck...:thumbsup:

there is a formula for growing(i don't know it),and the closer you come to it the better off you will be...something like...lxaxp2...light power x area x plants squared... plus mini-factors like,fan,nutrients,exact light placement,here's a photo of 4 plants under 70,000 lumins(616 watts)..and i think it can take more......and the only frets i know are on my sons guitar:D
