Ollie The board of directors on a non-profit vote on how that non-profit runs. As a non-profit any money that is left after costs to run it are the one that decide what is to be done with that money. As no profit can be made there are many ways to spend what is left. Some of the producers are finding very creative ways to spend that money.

Non-profit status does not mean they can't make money,just that a certain percentage has to be put back into the business or spent.
