What does everyone think of tents...

Hi guys. This is my first post on here, but I'm looking forward to learning a lot on here.

I'm about to start my first grow. I've been doing my homework and just wanted to know some stuff..

Firstly what does everyone think of using this:

are they good, or am I better off making my own one? I will be using UV lights to start off with, moving to Sodium later in the cycle.

Also, I'm wondering if a hydroponic setup will be achievable in my first grow.

Finally if it is achievable, what kind of yield per plant should I be expecting from AK 47?

There is a wealth of information in the Hydro thread to get you schooled and you could very successfully have an excellent grow.

As for your products, I am unfamiliar with them, but tents scare me. Not sure why, I've just opted to never use them. I like my plants getting a lot of air circulation and with tents it's a PITA as far as what I have learned about them. But, if you can provide the needed venting, go for it! Why not try at least? Then post the results here. :thumbsup:

I'll try to answer as much as I can.

First off, A hydroponic grow as a first grow? Anything is possible...NEVER doubt yourself :thumbsup:. But it is going to be hard work and you may run into problems here and there.
As for asking about yield, I have yet to see someone answer a question about yield. It really depends on your grow environment, equipment, problems you run into or not, etc so it's hard to say... But I'd like to guess at LEASSTTT an ounce :):stoned:

I didn't realize how vast this site is, just been going on the hydroponics thing now. This place has absolutely EVERYTHING anyone would need!
