Background Info: I'm 36yrs old, female, 170lbs, 5'10". I started smoking in May 2010 and was smoking 2-3 times a day for about 6 months and 3-4 times a week until the end of Dec 2010. From the end of Dec to the day I quit (1/19/11) I was smoking maybe 1-2 a week and it was poor quality bud (prior to that time I was smoking mids or kush). I have been clean for 22 days and I have a court ordered drug evaluation test scheduled for 12pm on Friday 2/11/11. I don't "work out" but I am active, I walk everywhere (no car) and I have an active sex life. The drug test is for the PTI (Pre-Trial Intervention program) in my state for a charge that is not drug related.
Additional Information: I have lost over 30lbs since I started smoking pot. For some reason it does not make me hungry, it makes me hyper and I tend to do more athletic activities while high.
I took a home test this morning with my first urination of the day and it came back positive and I cannot put the test off and i suspect I will be watched for this test.
My plan B with a positive test result is to dilute. I am going to get B12 vitamins, creatine supplement and Gatorade at the store later today along with another home test. I was thinking I would take a dose of creatine tonight and another tomorrow and hopefully that will raise my level a bit. I was also going to take the vitamins and drink fluids tomorrow for a test run.
My question is how updated is this information? I have read through the forums but most of the information is years old and most of the recent posts deal with substitution which is not an option for me. Also, with 24 days clean (on the day of the test) how diluted do I need to make it and will the steps outlined above cause me to have to take the test again?
If I can pass this test, my PI officer has told me I will not have to take another test for the duration of my supervision (2yrs). He is aware that I use pot and I have been clean since he told me the date of the test.

The information outlined in the Dilution thread is old but still applicable to Urine analysis at this day in age. B12 is not the vitamin you are looking for, it's B2. You can also skip the aspirin part of the dilution method as it is no longer a helping factor. My advice to you is too test yourself during a trial run of the full dilution thread. Consume all the fluids this method calls for and test yourself as if you were at the scheduled UA. I wouldn't worry about the vitamins or gatorade at this point... Save them for the day of the test. As for the Creatine, begin loading it now and continue to do so up until the test. During these last few days you'll want to be as lazy as possible and consume fatty food's if you can.
Try this and let me know how your home test turns out.
If I can pass this test, my PI officer has told me I will not have to take another test for the duration of my supervision (2yrs). He is aware that I use pot and I have been clean since he told me the date of the test.
I wouldn't trust a probation officer any farther than I could throw one. If I were you, I would stay clean for the duration of your probation. No sense in going to the slammer for a little weed.

I think it would be nice if someone created an updated dillution sticky or placed an updated summary with simple numered steps.
For Example:
Immediately
1. Quit smoking
2. Quit exercising (or start or start then stop or whatever)
3. Start taking Creatine
Day Before Test
1. Liquids
2. Vitamin B2
3. Continue Creatine
Day of Test
1. Pee
2. More liquids
Please Note that this is just a suggestion on the format and not an actual how to!! I would appreciate those knowledgeable with the dillution sticky to weigh in.

The forum PTB would have to unlock the Dilution sticky in order for anyone to provide updated info.
N2 has been MIA for several years now, so any updates coming from him may never happen. I hope Im wrong on this though.
Drinking liquids is only helpful on the day of the U/A. Drinking a bunch of liquids days before the test is of no help. It may cause frequent urination, but that does not equate to increased filteration of THC metabolites from the bloodstream by the kidneys. When fluids are consumed, youre only diluting what is present in the bladder. Once all of the fluids consumed had all been urinated out, the "dirty" donor would resume testing positive for THC as the bladder is replenished with "untreated" THCA-laden urine.
It must be understood that dilution techniques (in any configuration) can backfire if the THCA concentration in the bladder is too high. For most longtime heavy tokers, it would be virtually impossible to dilute that concentration without overdiluting and sending up red flags at the lab.

I know some of the information in the sticky is from folks who no longer contribute to the forum. But of the information that exists could we create a condensed version. I have made a few edits to my example. I will not be insulted by any critique made of this version.
Is there any reason the information should not be presented in this simple form.
For Example:
Immediately
1. Quit smoking
2. Quit exercising (or start or start then stop or whatever) <=feel free to weigh in here.
3. Start taking Creatine
Day Before Test
1. Vitamin B2
2. Continue Creatine
Day of Test
(Do you continue taking the creatine and B2 the day of the test?)
1. Pee first thing in the morning
2. Recommended liquids (water, tea, cranberry juice, any juice or whatever)
Things NOT to do:
1. Exercise the day before and day of the test
2. Take Aspirin
3. Take B12
4. Drink Bleach
Please Note that this is just a suggestion on the format and not an actual how to!! I would appreciate those knowledgeable with the dillution sticky to weigh in.

Ok I did a practice run today and passed. I set the test for 12:30pm as my appt tomorrow is for 12. I started drinking water at 10am and by 11am had drank 64oz of water. By 11 I was peeing clear. I continued to drink slowly until 11:30am when I took 5 B Complex vitamins. At 11:30 I stopped drinking water as I was peeing every 10-15 min and it was clear, and my total intake was about 85oz (not on purpose but I didn't realize how big my glass was until almost 11). By 12:20 my urine was a greenish yellow color. By 12:30 it was closer to yellow than green and that's when I took the test which came back with a faded but visible second line.
I took a serving of creatine yesterday around 8 and another with my first glass today. I will be drinking gatorade tomorrow too and probably not as much as today, and I plan on taking the vitamins about 30 min. earlier. It is now almost 1 and I am still peeing every 15-20mins and I feel sick to my stomach..lol.
I will post up my results tomorrow after my test to let you all know how it goes.

Sounds like you are ready. Let us know how it goes.
If you get a chance please update my example of steps for dilluting based on your experience. Any suggestions are welcome. Hopefully we can glean the information from the long winded dillution sticky and peoples actual experience into a set of simple steps.
Example:
Immediately
1. Quit smoking
2. Quit exercising (or start or start then stop or whatever) <=feel free to weigh in here.
3. Start taking Creatine
Day Before Test
1. Vitamin B2 (or Vitamin B complex or whatever can be used and is easiest to obtain) (Is there any value in starting the B2 any earlier?)
2. Continue Creatine (How Much?)
3. Drink Liquids
Day of Test
(Do you continue taking the creatine and B2 the day of the test?)
1. Pee first thing in the morning
2. Drink Recommended liquids (water, tea, cranberry juice, any juice or whatever)
Things NOT to do:
1. Exercise the day before and day of the test
2. Take Aspirin
3. Take B12
4. Drink Bleach

I just got back from my appointment, I passed with no problems. It was unsupervised, the guy didn't hardly even glance at the sample, just the results and then I was allowed to pour it out and throw it away. Yay!!! I'm so glad this site exists!
