Trying to see if this is real purple haze?

A guy was telling me his sprouts had little purple tips on his leaves and said see how the color is "hazy" IS he growing real purp or is he trying to trick me so he can up his prices

And if anyone could could they show me a pic that shows these sprouts with "hazy purple tips" on the leaves?

Most likely he is just saying that. Most drug dealers always exaggerate bout their product. Purple haze buds are as the name implies purple thick buds.

I was thinking the same thing, he was saying he got i t from some coffeshop and that the leaves will wind up growing to be purple as well, but i doubt it

Theyre just seedlings, that doesnt mean shit. Maybe its too cold, maybe its too hot, maybe theyve been overfertalized.

My purple strain is a totally green plant that violently tunrs purple in about week 3 of flowering(my arm to scale). Wait until you see his purple buds, then he can call it purple haze....and even then where did he get his genetics? how do you know its the real thing

photo on Miami's thread is exactly how I would like Purple Haze to look. I've grown out Neville's Haze and one pheno had nice purple buds (see pg 100 March 2011 HT)
but the bud structure was not real 'hazy' (sativa looking, thin towers of foxtailed calyxes). But a gold pheno was hazy and was the best smoke that grow.

Get your genetics from a reliable source! Your situation does not sound reliable. I just finished a crop of Purple Haze real deal. Very potent smoke...not for a novice. good luck and happy harvest!
