I use serenade, treat all my clones and vegging plants once a week.
You can even use it up to the day of harvest. It's a systemic problem usually strain specific, so if you treat them through all stages, it won't be a problem come flower time.

stay green!

Try Skimmed Milk, Not Whole Milk as the fat in it can go bad...

Cheep and works like a charm...

No PM is caused by air born spores that land on your plants and insert roots into the leaf.

You want to kill it or battle it??

you need to get some eagle20 and spray 100% of your plants... 100% total coverage

then aero bomb your grow room with fungaflor this will kill any spores that are present on your walls... ceiling... equipment ect...... like a sulfur vape does only no rotten egg smell.

Only final thing to do is to filter your incoming fresh air... if possible

Serenade is an excellent prophylactic measure, but it will only retard growth. A solution of 0.25% rosemary oil, or neem oil should do the trick. The nice thing about this is that it is also a pretty good miticide agent. Try Home Depot. About $6 per quart spray bottle. Milk contains lactose which can provide an excellent disaccharide for bacteria metabolism, so while it does work, it is not a great choice.

I did some hard core research on PM. PM lives within the plant so sprays are not that effective. As soon as the leaves grow and make new surfaces the PM will come back. Sulfur burners are very effective but cant be used in late flowering.
Serenade like edwardschlosser said will only retard it it will not kill it. I don't think there is a cure for it no matter what manufactures say! Either make/buy a sulfer burner or destroy all affected plants and start over. I know it sucks but that's life. I had to throw away about 8 oz of SuperSilver Haze because the sprays made it smell and taste like crap. Serenade has a horrible smell so be careful where you spray it. Its best to use it in the bath tub then wash it all down when your done spraying. Most sprays have sulfur in it to fight PM. Sulfur as you know smells like rotten eggs and tastes worst.

Keep temps above 77 and keep humidity below 45% to limit how much it spreads. PM hates hot and dry. So at night yes you need to keep the blowers going otherwise humidity gets out of control. Its OK if the temps get into high 50's. If colder draw air in from inside your house.

A sulfur burner used early in flower can prevent PM. Sulfur burners coat everything in your room with sulfur so spores have no place to live. Sprays wear off and spores off walls and floors get to work. Burner coats walls and floors.

My last grow I had PM. I tried 5 sprays, none worked for more than a week. I wish I had just killed them all and started over cause it killed my yield and had a bad taste from sprays and delayed the next grow by 6 weeks. The PM gets deep into the plant. After harvest I cleaned my room with bleach and lots of it, every surface and every piece of equipment had to be decontaminated. I also built an air filter for incoming air. Out side of where I live is very shady and wet so most plants out side have PM. The spores had come in via my intake air duct. I am a week away from harvest on my 1st grow since the PM, and there are no signs of PM. SO if you decontaminate your room and filter the air you shouldn't get it again.

The cure for PM is to innoculate the plant internally with a lactic acid mix or high sulfur compound.

There are inherent problems with this, as once you spy PM the simple fact is it's contaminated your crop. At this point the only chance you have is heavy chemical (and subsequent flushings) of sulfur and magnesium in an attempt to control and kill it from over-nutrition (which the plant should withstand.) This will affect the taste of your crop if you are not careful in managing the dosage.

Sadly, it is very difficult to control taste and potency when you get PM infestations.

insted of the sulfur burner and that nice rotten egg smell....try using a fungal bomb...FUNGAFLOR....1 can covers up to 1500 sq ft.....I used 1 can on a 500 sq ft area

Covers all areas just like a sulfur vape just no shitty smell.

I sprayed my plants with a mixture of 1/2 cup 3 % h202 and 3 scoops greencure mixed in a 32 oz spray bottle of water and I set off the bomb in the Grow area:thumbsup:

Greencure kills the spore on contact.....h202 raises the plants ph for 4-5 days internally within the plant...... to high for pm to live

You can also burn the pm out....temps in the high 90s kills pm....cool your roots

I can't wait to get PM again to try to burn it out. I have been wanting to use ice water in my res because I heard it makes the buds turn white. All the book said was "ice water makes the buds turn whiter during flush".

I just had my first run in with white powdery mildew a month or so ago and I use this stuff called "Green cure" fungicide($25)...Ive been applying it about once a week(and I apply the shit out of it, EVERYWHERE DRENCHING) for the last 4 weeks of harvest just to keep the WPM at bay, its hard to completely eliminate it while growing if not impossible w/o sulfur burner, but the green cure doesnt taste as bad, I plan on giving a final hand wipe w/ green cure the day before cut, then when there hanging Im going to use this final wash spray to rinse them off thats suppose to help get everything off, cant remember whats it called though...
