My father recently passed away from cancer. He was smoking marijuana for nausea. He kept his pot in a box where he also kept cash. He gave me the cash and it reeks of pot. There is no longer any marijuana anywhere. Could I get in trouble for this cash that stinks? Is there anyway I can get rid of the smell?

It shouldn't maintain that smell too long if you set it out, but to hurry it I would get a paper grocery sack and spray the inside of it very thoroughly with Febreze. Throw the money in there loose and tie up the top. Let it sit in there overnight and in the morning you will have fresh smelling money.

The other method is to send me all the money and I will replace it. Promise. Minus a small handling fee that is. :)

Good luck, but it should not be a big issue. Hell, just take it to the bank and tell them what happened. I am sure they will understand and no one is going to try to arrest you for smelling up currency.

I am sorry about the loss of your grandfather. He sounds like he was a fun old guy and I imagine that you miss him a lot. The question I have is: along with the money, did he leave you any stash? :)

Emmie's idea is a good one. But, if you don't have that product in your home you can try the same method but put in some Baking Soda. That will absorb odors from your fridge ... and from your money.

Sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to you and yours.

lol i think you'll be fine as long as your not going to pay someones bail with the money. I don't know if ive never seen a 7-11 clerk arrest anyone.
