To the mmcs on board here, have you been approached by them? Seems like a HUGE conflict of interest. They spend a year compiling your data on what is selling and how it tests, then they bring out their own line?

They seem pretty cool, if they paid for a MMC license, good luck to them!

Anyway, just like any MMC they will have to retail 70% of their product in their own MMC, which is a huge limitation on wholesaling.

We haven't been approached by them, but I don't necessarily see the conflict of interest.

If an owner of a lab is also trying to sell meds, you honestly don't see a conflict of interest, like the ability to boost test results, or decrease the value of competitors test results?

Several months we received a call from them, which we politely declined.

We work with FSL every week. Never has the subject come up. Good luck to them if they enter the market. Its about patient access to "medical cannabis" . If they can produce a medicinal product that benefits the patients whats wrong with that.

If they are going to be getting in to the market I can see some conflict there.

It would be nice to think that they would keep a truly openminded opinion of others product, but it's human nature to want to be the best.

I see the bigger issue as this: if people were giving them info in confidence, etc, and they used that to improve their processes.

The ability to mess with test results has always been there; there's very little transparency in the process. With the sheer number of labs out there now, I think they'd be fools to boost/decrease. What they stand to gain by shaving a few percentage points is vastly outweighed by the terrible PR they'd get for doing it.
