I just started maybe a month ago? Just experimenting and seeing what comes of it, because I can't really afford to buy all the time. Anyways I was looking for watering tips, and light cycle tips. Also I have 2 reflector lamps probably 1 inch away from my first plant and it doesn't seem to be doing much growing. Do I need to move the lights further away to give the plant room? (I also think I may be stressing the plant due to weird light cycling) However I think the plants a male anyway and I'm gonna throw it away once I see some balls. But since this was my experiment plant I'm gonna try to be serious with the next few if I come across some females. Anything can help! I'm not using anything special. I'm using CFL soft white and natural white bulbs with reflectors. All are 2700k or 3500k with 1600 or more lumens which I was told that's what plants depend on the lumens. I have pictures of my plant if anyone wants to see what it looked like let me know.

hi yes some pics would be great.
the best light cycle imho is 18/6 then down to 12/12 once shes strong and big enough to flower.
there could be loads of reasons why she isnt growing..ph problems, over watering,no co2 etc etc etc
fill out the trouble shooting form its the best way to start:pimp:

Not sure if it's a male or female but it's a suspected male. :( tall has about 7 or 8 nodes now. Still hasn't flowered yet though. You said 18/6 and 12/12 I'm assuming 18 on and 6 off for veg? and 12 on 12 off during flowering right? Wasn't sure if lights stayed on all day or not. So I been cycling the lights on and off but not too irregular trying not to stress the plant.

Here are pictures from a week to about 2 days ago in order (any sick flowers in these pictures have been removed from plant. other plants in background were thrown out already.)
