Howdy all. Okay, so this is my first time growing indoors and also hydroponically. As things progress with my first grow I am learning quite a bit. I made the mistake of growing 2 strains in the same set-up.
The prob I am having is that the Afgan just won't flower. The THC Bomb is looking awesome (very nice buds forming). I understand that the Afgan may take longer to flower, but we're going on 3 weeks now since I have changed the light hrs down from 18 down to 12 and then down to 10 hrs/day to induce flowering.
My question is whether I should AGAIN let them go completely dark for 24 hrs to try and induce flowering to the Afgan once again. Also, if I do this will it mess up the already flowering THC Bomb?
One more question, why has my rating changed to 'Disabled' when I had 3 bars 2 days ago?
Thanks so much to any and all replies and help/suggestions.

1. click on User CP Edit options: turn it back on...:D (the server turns your rep off when you get the + sign; it's messed up)

2. as far as the...slow to flower? I would give it another week. Wait & see?

Thanks DP. Switched it back on and it works. I was just worried that I did something or pissed someone off. I'm still too new here to piss anyone off :)
Thanks for your help DP. Will give the Afgan 1 more wk b4 trying to shock it into flowering.

Were both from seed? If so, that may be part of the reason, some strains are slower to show there sexuality than others when grown from seed. You may have triggered it before it was truly ready to flower? It may take that strain closer to 3 months than 2 to show it's preflowers and alternating nodes. I'm with DP, leave her be. Either she will start banging it out for ya, or you'll know to scrap the plant cause she's a pain in the keester. Either way we all learn something. Best of luck:thumbsup:

I've never known an indoor grow to take 3 months to show it's preflowers and alternating nodes. Am I missing something here?
