Hi all, I recently started my first grow (check profile for album) It is supposed to be a Hawaiian Snow strain but since my brother procured them from a very dodgy source I'm not quite sure if it is.

But let's suppose it is, anyone that has grown it before that can give me some info? Cause it doesn't seem to be that popular with home growers as it is with smokers so info is limited around the net!

First of all, it seems to be a very tall plant from the video of Green House Seeds in youtube.

YouTube - Green House Seed Hawaiian Snow Grow with Japanese Subtitles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfHJfg8XqH4)

Should I top em or FIM em? Will it produce a second cola if I do that will yield more, or smaller colas will be the result?

Are they resistant to pests?

How do they cope with humidity/mould? Cause my growroom is freshly built outdoors and it retains some humidity (around 65-70% atm) plus it's been raining like crazy lately so outside hum is 95-100%... :wtf:

Is there anything specific with this strain that I should be aware/careful of?

How long should I leave them in vegetation? How big they grow once they enter flowering? My ceiling is 3m (10ft) high but take off light clearance and pots I'd say around 2m (~6ft) of potential pure plant growth. Not sure though if I let em get 2m tall how wide they will become and if they will fit in the space I have at the end lol :hippy:

What yield should I expect if all go as planned and I don't end up killing em? lol :rambo: The grow space is 1,5sqm, using 14l pots with Biobizz Light Mix soil, Cellmax organic nutrients and a 430W HPS Agro on a parabolic reflector. Oscillating fans, exhausts etc, the lot.

Do the trichomes in this strain become amber or I should harvest once they are all milky? :weedpoke:

Is it a good strain for medical purposes, more specifically chronic back pain caused from an old spinal injury I had in a bike accident? :(

How does it taste/smoke? Is it mostly a head high? How long does it last?

Lastly, does this look like a sativa to you? Cause to my noob eyes the leaves are looking kinda indica like, or it's too soon to tell?

I'm afraid we have been scammed and god knows what seeds I have lol. Will get em from Green House directly next time and try again if not! :rastasmoke:

Lots of questions I know but I'm reading a lot, willing to experiment a lot and I'm a fast learner so one day hopefully I'll be able to repay with providing my knowledge to future generations of noob growers that will follow after me!

:bump2: No one? Damn this strain is killing me...:weedpoke: How can it be so popular among smokers and not among growers? Or maybe that's the case in Europe and most ppl here are from US so that's why I can't get much data on it? I just hope that it's not cause it's just a pain of an unstable strain to grow or something or I'm fucked being my first grow and everything... :( Should have chosen something more popular for the first time like a Blueberry or something...
