I like Electronics and have been looking into hand held microscopes to check trichomes, and Pest Etc.(Hopefully never Spider Mites.LOL)

Now i been looking at these USB microscopes(Even Better) that range in the 200x-400x or more magnifications,1.3-2.0 MP.They also shoot video and can take still shots. Some come with stands, better softwares that allow easier function and use of the scope.Im just wondering if anyone uses one now and what brand or model they have.I have a new netbook that im gonna keep all info on grows, certain strain requirements, nutrient mixes pictures,ETC that i will use just for my grow locations. So this micro scope would be part of my grow tools.I just like toys and figured this would be a useful one.Now these USB micro scopes range from $39-399+.Looking to stay in the more basic range of 50-80 which most are priced at, there are a few that are way over kill.

This is bad. I can see a credit card inching it's way out of my purse...

I will blame it on a wizard. Thats right... it was a wizard that did it to me... I could not help myself. What a world. :stoned:

HiView Wireless USB is what I have.

Just plug it into my 32" screen and watch the screen from my closet. No need to squint or hover over a computer.

Not high def, though, 480p.

Got it for $99 at ThinkGeek, immediately after they raised the price, then discontinued it.

200x magnification is good enough to see my actual diodes up close and personal, even at 480p.

I wanted the eyetoy but the slim profile of this was just awesome for my wrist, not to mention the measuring function (once calibrated to an NIST measure in mm)

As an added bonus, I can track unsecured 2.4GHz analog signals, like video monitors, or X10 cameras.
