Most people use less when vaping. Some use half as much or less. Most of what you get from smoking is really vapor anyway. The heat from a lit bowl vaporizes the bowl contents before it's burned. You can even stretch your supply when smoking by not incinerating the bowl. Just get a small cherry going and let it spread. The higher the temp, the faster it burns up and the less you get out of it. Same goes for vaporizing. You'll get a lot more hits if you start vaping at lower temps and gradually increase the temp. Start at a high temp and you'll get a lot fewer hits.

A lot of vaping newbies feel like they're not getting as high with vapor. You actually get a cleaner, truer high with vapor. Smokers think the byproducts of combustion are part of the high. These are mostly toxic chemical compounds like carbon monoxide and benzene, and their effect is sedative. This couchlock effect is what lasts, so again, the smoke high seems longer.

Vapor takes a slightly longer time to take effect, but it's no big deal. Nobody's ever quit vaping because of it.

If you want to give vaporizing a good try, quit smoking and take nothing but vapor for about a week. Then see what you think.

And make sure that you don't smoke out of that pipe, but vape out of that pipe. Most vapes have learning curves. This one surly does.
