Hello pilgrems and fellow growers as i have stated in a couple threads prior to this official one I am growin namebrand seeds this time around and it be my first time doin so. In all my other grows I have just grown bagseed and got real good at it. Just wanted to be postin some pics of these here name brand plants to see ifin yu pros think I be doin well byem? I be not havin any problems so far and feel they all be healthy and happy but like I said name brand deserves they right ovation. These here plants be Northern Lights/Skunk and since i never be growin namebrand stuff just be curious ifin these be lookin like Northern Lights to those who be growin it in the past. Be thankin anyone who be stoppin by the fire to chaw the fat bout this all imput be appreciated. Thanks gain pilgrems.

These here be about 4 weeks into true veg and are just startin to show alternatin nodes. I think I will letem go 1 or 2 more weeks before the flip and start with the big bloom nutes and some good old molasses as i have done in the past with the bagseed.

It's kinda hard to tell if'n they are NL.. Leaf structure looks killer! You'll be able to tell whether or not it's NL/SK when ya start to flower.The sk will take control and the buds calyx's will swell beyond a regular strain like NL. Being it is a hybrid.. You will see more of the skunk traits than the NL... But,the NL will be the dominate in the end as far as what it smokes like! You should be very happy and stoned! They look SUPER,Drifter!:thumbsup:

I just posted a video of SK1 and Big Bud.. Take a peek and you'll see some of the traits you will have in your plants,by comparing to the sk1 in the video. I flowered the sk1 at 12 inches tall after toppin' them..

Reading that sent chills through my body remembering when I was a child playing with my best friend back then and they ran ahead in the woods while I was looking at some strange little rabbit that looked like a skunk in its markings hiding in a thick bush. I heard a schrill scream and a snarling growl that I had never heard before that made the hair on my neck stand up and I ran to find out what it was because I knew the scream was my little buddy!

I found them pinned against a tree with a very sick looking, hungry wolf a foot from them. My friends family had just lost a child being hit by a car on the way to school within the last year and all I could think about was I could not let her mother lose another if I could help it. I made my approach to grab a hold of her hand and the wolf lurched at me. I fell to my knees and extended my hand out, all the while peeing my pants literally, and said in such a shakey voice please don't hurt us. Can we be friends? It snarled and then sniffed my fingertips. That wolf then looked in my eyes and thinking back on it I could almost see its human soul behind those brown eyes. It gave me the slightest lick and walked away turning back to look at us every few steps as it left.

My heart was pure with that wolf because as young as I was at the time it couldn't have been in a purer form. Thanks for making me remember that. Don't believe I have recalled that in at least 2 decades. Sometimes we need to recall tramatic things to appreciate life. And the lucky times we escaped death without a clue we were even facing it.

Well I be appreciatin it pilgrems came here to help ifin I can and learn ifin i need to and not be lookin to have problems from any folk but every now and then some yung buck be challengin a leader be seein ifin the can climb in status above others and I be mighty stubbern sometime to be buttin heads and knockin in place ifin it be a place they need puttin. I only try and help folks but sometimes folk get in there heads they be askin questions in places like this here one and only be open to the answers they be wantin to here and soon as yu be givin them a answer they dont want to here they be takin it as attack and startin drama bout it. The easiest way to tell is to either know their names on here from seeing other posts by them or if you are going by the member list only, you'll see (instead of Registered) listed under their names something like, "The Modfather" or "CultiModerVatorAtor".

is that a big garfish, the fish with the green bones?i use to catch garfish spinning of my local beach, don't do much sea fishing these days , mostly carp fishing now always try and go for 72 hour sessions most weeks in the summer, chilling out with a nice smoke round my local lake,away from everyone just mother nature for company. got a trip in june with my son in France for a week,one of the best countries in europe for it. the lake were going to has fish upto 70LB, can't wait for that.BWD inspired me to go pike fishing today with his fantastic pictures, heres a pic of my first ever pike useally only plesure fish but were told pike is good eating so this one went in the pot and very nice it was too.

Yes it is the one. Its eatable for sure but if its big enough to control bones because it has different kind of bone structure inside. This was 1 meter and good for eating. Smaller sizes are hard to clean out from the bones. I think back to the starving wolf that spared my friend and I, when he could have literally taken us out of this world. But even in his fight for survival he spared us ... he gave up a meal to let two little girls live. Powerful stuff. At least to me.

I think the world of you BWD but when I see things like this it just hurts my heart for the beasts that were so grand, so powerful. I'm glad you saved the chickens and your livelyhood but I hope it is okay if I share with you that I hurt for the wolves.

Hunting is a really popular sport and as long as you use what you kill ... it is for the greater good. I really wish I could feel more of a happiness that you took out the leader of the pack, but my mind floods with memories of an old wolf who cared enough to let me and my friend live.

I have a big boxer that "hugs" me. Literally comes up from behind when I'm sitting and puts one paw over my shoulder, while snuggling its head on my neck squeezing tight. She is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. She's 11, so I'm not sure how much time she has left on this planet, but she'll be waiting for me on the bridge when I cross over. I'm sure of it! All the animals I have natured or helped over the years of my lifetime will be there. Or at least, if there is a Heaven, that is the one I dream of. All my friends/family who've passed on waiting for me to begin a new journey. A new chapter of our souls energy.

But if the truth be known, I'm hoping I reincarnate into another soul so I can be a part of what ever is to come, good or bad. I guess I'm just "nosey". :S2:

I was justing havin a little fun with the management. Truth is, it must be a huge task trying to keep this site well pruned. I don't really understand the 10 minute lock rule either. I mean they say its required by law but who knows why really.

But, anyways, great to have you aboard, I am really enjoying your stories. I just bought a few acres up the mountains myself and be already seeing HUGE paw prints all around the camp site the last time we camped. I can't wait to get up there anyway. My question be simple ifin yu dont mind answerin. I flipped these here plants on 12/12 week ago and nothin seems to be showin any signs of sex yet. They look like definite males. Hermies are female first, then they throw out some nanners.
You can keep one of them for a while, if you want to breed. Maybe clean out most flowers and leave just a couple to watch and collect pollen. I didn't do it before so I don't know how to do. Also spraying water on them will kill the pollens I heard. You can do that for control the other non-tracked flowers.

Other two must be female then if they still didn't show their flowers yet ;)

I've been growing regular seeds and I was thinking on feminized seeds too. Once I got them I wished them to be regular. Because with regular seeds you have a chance to breed and create stabilized generations. With feminized you have more chance to hermie and only with hermie you can breed that's possibility of non stabilized genes :)
Feminized is good for limited grows IMO. Like only one or two plants...

By the way, I don't know why your plants are showing sex too late. MY bag seeds were showing in third week, latest fourth week. Some said they can be autoflower, yes they can be, I don't now. But my non auto feminized seeds also showed sex in 4th week. They weren't autoflowers. All of my plants was showing flowers under 18/6.

Some said they can be autoflower, yes they can be, I don't now. But my non auto feminized seeds also showed sex in 4th week. They weren't autoflowers. All of my plants was showing flowers under 18/6.

From what I understand through research, is auto fems flower out no matter what lighting situation they are under. Any amount of time has no bearing on the flowering cycle because they will flower out due to life time (days since being cracked), not lighting. I'll see soon enough if that is the case. :)

From what I have been researching, you can put those auto fem babies under complete light (24 hours a day) and get to where you need to be within 60 days depending on the strain. (Low girl 60 days, Top 69 in 69 days)

I think I would want to give them some dark time, but I'm still researching all I can before I crack the beans. Want to be fully informed on these type of seeds beforehand. Don't want to screw them up, lol. ;)

unfortunately the pics are males but if you have 2 showing hairs all is not lost, i'm sure you will do a fine job in bringing them on to full maturity and a bumber crop.when removeing the males i use to put a hessian sack over them befor removeing to stop any pollenateing
lynal i done some lowryder2 (autoflowering) even though i done them outdoors which takes longer 100 days instead of 42-50 all showed sex within 3 weeks and the ones that had longer daylight hours (16 hrs compared with 12) had better results, don't know if thats any help

Look at the positives there BWD...ya probably gonna have SOME females....I cracked 15 beans once and after a long 3 month veg....found ALL 15 were males....I hope nobody else ever goes 0 for 15...it's what made me learn to clone tho, and I go 95-100% success on those now, so always look for the bright side of life!:D Like this! Even though there are cloning agents that are suppose to make it all easier, I have found the most success with just a cup of water ... yeah I know everyone has their thoughts on cloning chemicals etc. but a cup of water with my clone cuttings have had so much more success than with the chemical way IMHO.

Basically, you bend down the main cola to cause it to slightly stress the plant. Be gentle and do not break the stalk all the way through. You'll be learning quite a bit with this grow, pilgrem. Best of luck to you and your ladies. :)

Now lets do the tax payer calculation on this whole thing from start to finish and be calculatin if it was worth the time spent, resourses, strings pulled. resourses tied up in court all for @ PLANTS! and with a pilgrem not ever be hurtin a single human being only helpin them (Look up my background) and one who be stayin true to the truth just for me. A good guy with no priors be a huge waste of tax payers money so in the end.

When I grow, although I do give to two sick people free of charge, I grow such a limited amount that to take the time and resources to get a warrent and knock on my door etc., it just wouldn't be worth it for the system. They are lookiing for the people growing massive amounts for profit, not so much the little guy or gal trying to help others and themselves with some meds they really need and NOT SUPPORT the drug cartels and profit'ers.

If they come a'knocking, then I will be ever so politely asking to see the warrent and happily letting them in upon them furnishing the document. They'll be so disappointed though with my currently puny grows. :rolleyes:

Not likey The Judges in our systems even voice there disappointment that the little guys the ones caught with a few grams backlog the system for no reason. And obviously I can't trust pigeons...Some of the ducks are "pre-stuffed" ifn ya get my drift...that way, they can't smoke it on the way....;) They will be the low flying birds...Sending some of these dam billion geese back too, got goose sh!t everywhere and they ate ALL the winter wheat!...I'm tired of goose. I never get tired of duck tho;)...enjoy!:D

BWD if your haveing problems with the plants growing too tall, on your next grow try LST (low stress training) thats when you bend the plants from a very early age and you can get them to grow horizontal instead of verticle , you can end up with some nice big colas as theres no branches in the way so the light distribution is better, if you do a search you will be able to find plenty of info in the grow section on LST.

nice grow BWD....now would be a good time to start researching revegging those ladies for your outdoor springtime grow=late spring harvest of buds....no luck/space for clones? check into air layering...rooting a branch while its still attached to the plant....you can do this while flowering.with your green thumb it will be easy.....

BWD Looks like things are marching along. It says banned under your handle so I hope you still have access. I know you got caught up in a nasty online fight. I plan on adding N.L. to my strains this year. I have heard too many good things about it to pass it up. Trouble is I need to go to a club to get a clone and that is always a crap shoot. I get good strains from clubs but I do wonder about the genetics of any plants I get there. I got a Lambs Bread and an Afghan Goo that were probably not pure strains or were not the strain at all.

Spring thaw is coming and I should be able to get into the property soon to start setting up holes and laying water lines. I also plan to start on a cabin this spring so should be way busy. Hope you all have your clones started the season is near.
