Hi, I just got a MM card a couple days ago because of a permanent back injury. I can't take Motrin because it made my stomach bleed and narcotic pain killers just are a good long term solution. So, after about 2 years of everyone I know who smokes weed telling me, "I need weed," I decided to try it. I'm looking for tips on how to get the most amount of pain relief with the least amount of fogginess or anxiety...if that's possible. So I'm hoping some of you more experienced users can offer me some advice on the do's and don'ts of Marijuana and how I can benefit from it the most. Thank you!

You'll need to try different strains to find one that will do just what you want. I find that switching between several works best for me. I smoke about a bowl a day from my water pipe, and I'll use a different strain each load.

edibles from cannabutter / oils and homemade tinctures are the best for my pain as well as the topical balms are really nice for arthritis pain for sure.

Indicas work best for my pain. And I'm growing a purple strain and it kills the pain up to a point. Cannabis only works so far, but it is effect for as far as it goes and is much safer then Tylenol and those other pain killers that ruin your liver.

IMO, vaporizers are great for getting all the pain relief i need and still able to function. My fave strains are sour diesel, jack herer and AK 47. but AK gives me couch lock sometimes if i over do it. I smoke mostly for pain relief bc ive shattered both hands and have no cartilage in them now, so i hope this is vaguely what ur lookin for. toke up bro!

Try different strains. Most people would say that a sativa would reduce the amount of "couch lock", but it depends on your body and how you handle it. Try them all and see what works for you.

I've noticed the G13 strain heighten aggression, which is really good from a business prospective, but not good in day to day use unless cut or crossed with an indica.
