I have my grow-op in my closet at college, but i leave on the weekends... do you think it is ok to leave the light on for the weekend?

No not in flowering mode....you will severely delay flowering finish time by leaving it on 24/0 for weekends and stress the crap out of your plants! By a timer for ten bucks!!!

Get a timer set it to 12 hours on 12 hours off, plug your light into it, and don't worry about the plants when your out for the weekend.
