My BUD is Spongey/Rubbery? any ideas? LAced?

Sorry, couldn't figure out where to post this.
Just got a gram of some really good trichrome filled almost white coloured bud. When I went to break it up, it feels quite spongey, almost wet (but is completely dry) There was one small stem in it which SNAPPED when I bent it so it must have been cured properly.

I have never seen this before and am just curious what's up with it?
Also is it safe to burn up? ;):jointsmile:
Can someone answer me as soon as possible, because I want to know if it's safe and not laced or anything so I can relaxxx :thumbsup::smokin:

It was probably among a bunch of buds that got too dry (completely). So then the buds were put under moisture... and there you have it. Wet bud on the outside, yet dry stems inside.

hmm... I tryed some of it and it was some DANKKKKKKK stuff:stoned:
guess it's safe LOL
