What is the best job you've had? Besides doing archaeological work, and carpentry work, I got the most satisfaction out of being a pot dealer in the 70s. :jointsmile: I always have liked working for myself best, and when I had employees, 17 was the most before Reagan, I always took care of those who worked for me. :thumbsup: Even though it was my business, I couldn't build houses by myself. ;) I allowed pot breaks three times a day!!!! And I had my days that's for sure where I was the slave driver!!!! :D

I like jobs that don't consume all my time paying for crap I don't need to keep up with the jones or latest tech trend. That's what's wrong with people any more, we don't relax and just hang out anymore. :( Multi-task? Up yours!!!! I make pipes one at a time, and if I get distracted by something, I may screw it up. :D

In modern society, we should be working less. Indigenous people only put in about 20 hours a week to take care of their basic needs, and the rest is leisure time to do whatever. :eek: :twocents: worth of rambling!! I get bored easily being limited in mobility. I'm a doer at heart and can't stand being disabled, I need happy positive influences around me to keep me motivated. Now, where are they? :S1:

Now, everybody, take the rest of the day off. I said its ok, and you need it!!! :lol5:

My best job ever has been becoming a full time student again. Great hours, great social life and plenty of vacation time!

So yes, I am going to take the rest of the day off! My feet are up and my task of the night is to see how many little bowls of white widow I can get in before I forget what I am doing.... one.... two....

{connection lost due to lack of activity}

I'm glad you took the day off. I'd thought about a PhD, but...........what's the use. Piling higher and deeper? :error: I thought I was maybe going through male menopause, but I looked at the symptoms and I sure don't have a testosterone drop!!!! :lol5:

I guess I'm just....................

Honestly, my best job was washing dishes at a dude ranch in the Colorado Rocky Mountains when I was 18 year old. The job was mindless and easy to perform no matter how hung over or stoned I was. When I got off work, I was right in the middle of some of the most beautiful country in the world. Did a lot of hiking and since it was the 70s, a lot of smoking and poking. :smokin:

They were the good old days, especially compared to these days!!! Every time a person turns around someone has a hand out-a corporate hand- that is!! :smokin:

I'd say the best job, fun and easy wise, was being a security guard In Vegas, NV. Got to sit on my ass most of the time and watch the scantily clad pretty girls go by. Hardest part of the job was filling out the paper work and finding a place for a "smoke break". As for all around "best" job, I'd have to say being a carpenter. Doing a job and knowing that someone will enjoy the finished product for years to come. Hopefully. :thumbsup:

Man, I've had quite a few fun jobs...worked at Goddard SFC in the 70's when there were about 5 keypunch girls to every 'puter operator...that was fun, cept for the monthly rotating shifts:wtf: very interesting work tho

Went to a teachers college for a couple years that was 67% female student bodies...pre-AIDS too! Learned a lot about women there...lot's of fun!

D/W-busboy in Vegas when I was in HS...mindless, only open for dinner so we spent all day every day out at Lake Mead, drinkin beer and swimming with the honeys, and we got to eat an awesome dinner for free each night...Prime Rib or Lobster tails! Stoned pig out every night!

Then there was the "potato chip styrofoam packing material" plant I got to run by myself on a graveyard shift...it was totally automated, so I just had to add stuff now and then and ck things, smoked up all night and when they were done (the chips) they all went into this giant storage space lined with chicken wire and a fan blew them all down to one end....get high, run as fast as you could for 50 yds and dive, flip, feet first, whatever, into a giant pile of packing foam! Wanted so bad to make a jump and take my race bike in there...never did tho....regret it now

I like what I do now fine too tho....just piddle and fix stuff here and there, grow, smoke, chill, fish, hunt....here....beside the riv er side....come... here... Uncle Johns band...playing by....sorry, wandered off there reminiscing...and they wonder why we call 'em the good ol days...dam I can't do 3 hits of this stuff anymore without leaving the planet...C ya in awhiiiiiiiiile!
