Alright,
So I want to start a grow just for personal use in my townhouse apartment. It's only two plants with tiny grow lights - maybe not even big enough to fully heat an iguana cage. They are 70 watt sunlight heat bulbs and I also have a humidifier. I'm at the vegetative state and suddenly worried I might get caught. What do you think my chances would be?:what:

You should know what your chances are of getting caught.
We don't live there :wtf:
Are you hiding it from other people in the house? are people coming in and out? Is it somewhere obvious? Can you see it from outside;)?
If you answered no to most of then then you should be alright.

Make sure it's not 'in the way' ex: If you need a cable man coming over don't have it anywhere that cable man would have to go by or near:)

Yea', all that's a no. It's well hidden. I was just wondering if it would cause enough heat to be noticed. We don't have heat through our apartment complex and both people on either side of us are either fighting or.. Selling drugs. The only person that might find out would be the bug man but I don't think he goes into bedrooms or closets.

You know, the guy who comes in every now and then to spray for bugs. I've heard they don't go into any private places (i.e.- bedrooms, closets) and also from previous experiences.

I know the things I should watch out for.
Little heat lamps = Not much light
Heat lamps not touching walls = not heating the walls
Heat lamps with heat to escape, especially in the winter = Not suspicious?
Not visible to anyone unless they snoop = well hidden
Only two plants growing = less electricity I'm going to use

I just needed more reassureance than anything.

NO! It should not be enough heat to warm up even the room outside of your closet. Otherwise something is wrong ;), unless of course you have your closet door open. I do not think it will be noticeable so don't worry!
Another thing you could do for reassurance would be to go to a hardware store and change the door-knob on your closet to one with a lock+key... just don't lose the key or you'll be smelling that nice but from the other side of the door:jointsmile::thumbsup:
Ps: you should use google and do some research on your free time because I am positive I have seen many other questions similar to this around... :) You might find some interesting answer that could help you out too.

OH, and you are growing in a closet right?:stoned::hippy:

As for your ventilation, that is something I have on my list for the future too. How big is your closet space? It might be big enough so that you do not need to worry about it right now, but definitely will need some time of way to exchange fresh air into your grow area in the future

Also one finalll thing, How your girls are doing? :)

if you go in the closet or leave the door open while there during the day then venting is no issue.every time you open or leave the door cracked or whatever you do fresh air rushes in
