for all around ease and potential problems that could arise, which method is simpler? I have BOTH set-ups / flood table and waterfarm bucket w/ drip ring, with all accessories.being an experienced soil grower i want to "set it and forget it". ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!!

I would say IMO that E&F would be easier. Atleast there the plants dont die if the air pump fails :wtf:

Don't those drip rings have a tendency to plug up over time? Flood and drain is like a modified DWC, where the roots are under water only part of the time. The flood times during an hour and their duration are issues that need to be understood.

If you flood more frequently, do you get over-fert and tip burn?

can do more but instead of burn and such you will face overwatering first.
