They must be getting desperate. Anyone who makes a living chasing down pot smokers is a low life mfer in my book. Call 'em up and send them to Afghanistan and let them get a taste of the real thing. And if they've been, they didn't learn squat. :D

I call bullshit.

If LEO "Helps you out" or facilitates part of a grow op like you state, any first year law student can beat those charges.

It's called entrapment and LEO is just not that stupid.

As knowing the law in WA state, Most of the MMJ laws in any state set u up for entrapment if you say or do 1 thing wrong and the right person notices... But i do agree,LEO walks a fine line on whats lawful or not?? If you think this is entrapment, what about set up drug buys by the DEA , prostitution stings...ect etc... it was just a warining.take it w/ a grain of salt...

Giving LEO the benefit of the doubt is a fool's play. Don't trust them one iota under this present climate. They twist the system as far as it will twist.

umm entrapment you say. remember the guy they just busted in portland ore for trying to blow up the tree lighting cerimony. they gave him the fake bomb. they went to him and said we can help you. what is different then them saying we can help you grow then bust you when you actually do it. and as feds read some history and remember dalorean case. they were the supplier of the cocain he was trying to buy also it was a fed informant who solisited delorean to buy the drugs. come on they would just call it a leagle sting op and you will be sitting in jail.

Entrapment is a good legal defense if you're lucky enough to get a judge to allow it. Entrapment is widely used by LEO.
If you want to hook up with a caregiver be sure to ask for references. But the best bet is to never ask anyone that you don't personally know.

The opportunity to walk away, that is the fool's play because you can't walk away once they get their hooks in. Do it yourself, learn from someone you trust and keep your trap shut in the real world. Buy a router, learn how to configure it, flash it to dd-wrt and you can give yourself any address out of 254. Wildcard it!! :D

Entrapment by Estoppel is the defense to be exact. State v. Leavitt. [wa. case div.II]. Federal defense it is Cox. v. Louisiana.

But, sounds like maybe it is a ruse tango is speaking about...since caregiver is not a wa. state term of art used any longer, it is provider..and a provider would be the one committing the crime of distribution under state/fed laws..so this does not make any sense..a patient would only be in possession with intent to use the substance...and nothing more since the contract specifically is for that intent by law..

Go figure.
