clone roots disappeared

put some clones in a bubbler i just made 3 week ago and they were only 2 node clones and didnt rootafter 2 weeks so i decided to take 5 node clones and took those 3 small 2 nodes out of the bubbler and put them in the same pot the mother was in on the sides a week after i put it in the soil i looked at them and they grew 3 small roots so i put it in a cup with foxfarm soil and 2 days later i looked at one of the clones and the roots are gone did it rot off or what is it cause i used foxfarm ocean forest and when i watered it the nutes killed the roots ?
