Well it looks like I've found this grow log area a little late. Luckily that means I'll skip most of the boring early stuff and get to where I am at now (week into flowering). Here are the prerequisites:
ROOM: 4' x 8' x 7.5' grow tent in basement with one open vent on far side of room (box windows, approx 15-20 ft away from tent).
LIGHT: 2 600w philips son-t bulbs with reflective hoods
BALLASTS: 2 new Lumatek 600w digital ballasts set on super lumens
EXHAUST/COOLING: charcoal filter in room -> 6" inline fan -> duct -> light -> duct -> light -> duct -> open air
INTAKE: 2 separate tornado 7.5" fans blowing at air duct 4" from fan, extending to the tent with a fan inside tent (not connected to duct) sucking the air in/dispersing it about the room
GROW MEDIUM: Soil - Promix BX mixed with extra Perlite. Ratio roughly 20:1 (just added some in a bag and mixed it up). Plants are growing in 3 gallon grow bags. *Recently transplanted to 7 gallon potters.
FANS: 6" inline previously mentioned; 2 vornados intake; 7-8" box fan hanging head level (end of line intake); 24" oscillating tower floor fan (other end of line intake); 2 traditional oscillating tabletop fans, currently floor level.
I started with 13, 11 germinated, 6 turned out to be female. Because it's my first time growing and I got too excited, I have 4 different kinds going (a fifth died). That's 2 white widow, 2 bubblegum, 1 northern light and 1 super silver haze. They started from seed from an amsterdam seed bank. They were transplanted to 3 gallon bags, and after males detected, 7 gallon potters.
