No one has ever died of THC poisoning, mostly because a 160-lb. person would have to smoke roughly 900 joints in a sitting to reach a lethal dose. (No doubt some have tried.) But that doesn't mean pot can't contribute to serious health problems and even DEAth--both indirectly (driving while stoned, for instance) and directly (by affecting circulation, for example). A paper published last year in the journal Angiology found 10 odd cases in France of heavy herbe smokers who developed ischemia (an insufficient blood supply) in their limbs, leading in four cases to amputations. It's not clear that marijuana caused the decreased blood flow, but the vascular problems did worsen during periods of heavy use. Another 2001 paper, in Circulation, found a nearly fivefold increase in the risk for heart attack in the first hour after smoking marijuana--though statistically that means smoking pot is about as dangerous for a fit person as exercise.

some of the what are thought to be the safest things on earth are air, and water, both can kill you by the way, in many ways.

However Cannabis is alot differant water has a overdose rate, drink to much and die or drown, air is ubundant and everywhere but if it gets in you r vain and then in your heart or brain your dead.

Cannabis very differant in order to die from cannabis you waould have to try and catch 1000 pounds fallin off of a 2 story building then the herb would crush you and death.

Scientific evidence has dis-proven the myth that driving after smoking cannabis impairs the driver as bad as cell phone use, eating, or conversing with a passenger. Now, medicating and doing one or more of the others too, yeah. You're dangerous. :D The impaired driving laws are just more of the same of shearing of the sheep for the general slush fund. :thumbsup:

Eat a large bowl of ice cream, after getting stoned, and, your brain will (seemingly) completely die for several hours. If you eat a large enough bowl of ice cream, you may be able to freeze your brain-cells until they can come up with a cure for your pot addiction.
